Someone requested this on the GMC.
Basically it takes a screenshot of a room, and saves the game, and then goes to another room (pause room) where the screenshot is then assigned to the background. Then when you unpause, it deletes any saved files and loads the saved game (thus going back to where you were when you paused.)

Of course this isn't the best method to use if you want a little menu to change settings (unless you use ini's or some other external data file type.) But I thought it might help someone out so I decided to put it on here.

Also note that because it does add backgrounds, you must be registered to use this.
