Heat Wave Effect
The heat wave scripts used in this example create a Megaman X styled heat wave effect.

To view the heat wave effect, press enter. You can enable and disable the effect by pressing enter.


Target platforms:



Dev - Warning
Dev - After editing rating, make rating display change
Dev - When editing, update "edited" column
Dev - Restore deleted comments
Dev - Display deleted comments if mod (hidden, then with dropdown)
Dev - After deletion or during edit, make rating dropdown appear again
Dev - Stricter rating rules. Prevent user from rating again

Dev - Reporting
Pretty cool, but man, thats alot of coding! Lol. ^_^

By the way, the text in your preview picture to me is misleading, I thought the background image was gonna do what the text is doing, wavy like see?

Its nice but you should be generating this dynamically use trig functions, and you should have made it more "moddable" incase anyone wanted to use it. 7/10

It ran at 60 FPS without the effect, and 120 FPS with the effect. WTF? it was a bit fast, too.

Its too fast, put the room speed lower or somthin.

Except the room speed under 60 can make your game look like it was made with game maker witch you don't want.
