Enchanced Particle Explosion
OK, so many of you have seen and used my "Terrific Particle Explosions" example. I looked back at it the other day and thought "How hideous. Why did people at all like this?"

So I made this one as a replacement for people to use, as it's far better than the original.

If you DO use this one, please use the following credit line:

Particle Explosions by Flashback.

That's the stupidest idea i've heard.

It actually makes most sense. If it runs too fast, then just tone down the speed.

That's the stupidest idea i've heard. My FPS was at 6000 and I was pressing space viciously. And because of that, the explosion looked like a flash of crap. Sorry man, I can't give you a good rating.

-Rhys

Ever seen GEarGod's lighting engine? Does teh same thing in his demo. Sphere warp effect example here? Does the same thing. You couldn't POSSIBLY bring it upon yourself to expand a folder tree, click a label, click a tab, and write "30" in a text box, could you?

But seriously, that just looks plain fish to downrate it because of that, ESPECIALLY because you've made you're own effects engine - now you can say "Look how good our rating is, it way beats Flahbacks. Use ours!"

Nobody likes Rhys anyway, so pay no attention. Sorry, whats that? You've spent way too long on Conflict online and it still sucks? Damn right.

Anyway, cool effect. If the explosions lasted a fraction longer I would definitely use this whenever i couldnt be bothered to make my own explosion D:

I like it. it's a bit simple, but that doesn't mean it's bad though.

the room speed was too fast lol. My comp ran it at 2500 fps so I literally didnt see the explostions, I had to set the room speed to like 90 for it to even be reasonable

not bad. It's a bit more of a flash then a full explosion. I actually have one a little like this, my friend and I were thinking of uploading it as an example among some of the other effects we've found.

Pule, change the room speed. <_<
Nice explosion effect all put together in a small amount of code. 9/10 from me.
