The next version of Chain Reaction has arrived!
The same gameplay, four modes, and online highscores! Seven unlockable colors and shields!

In this game you try to shoot at incoming circles to get the highest score or time you can.
Their are four different modes; Original Mode, Rapid Fire Mode, Timed Mode, and Invasion Mode. Each imposing a different challenge.
In Original Mode, thanks to ChIkEn, there are online highscores!

Bug Fix: I fixed a bug where the purple wouldn't come - download it again!

It was an okay game. It really was just a simple scrolling shooter. I liked how things moved up and not down, that was cool. As for the effects... well you just used ef_smoke basicly for EVERYTHING. Overall it didn't impress me but a good start.

:D there's a bug with the health system in timed ;)

My <strike>speakers</strike> headphones don't play any sounds from this game XD

when you pause, make it reposition the mouse when you unpause, not every step when paused.

Good job for another release.

My comments:

1. I see that the flaws I have mentioned before have been fixed. Alright. *thumb up*

However...there is one thing left...

Read what _Player_ said,

You wouldn't like it when you have a mouse, but it can't move, would you?

2. In the invasion mode, lots and lots of rings come toward you. It's fun to watch those explosions, however, there are so many rings, and the chain reaction lasts so long. Sometimes they even last more than a minute, and nothing comes toward you, cuz all explosions are down there. The score boosts up so fast, that in 3-4 minutes, I already got the score more than 1,000,000. I suggest you to have something to fasten the "end game" effect. For example, only have 1 health point, so it's one hit kill.

Another bad thing about the invasion mode is that there are too many particles in the chained explosions, and the player can't see the rings. I suggest have those rings in front of the explosions, and have them "glow" so that, for example, we can see a glowing red ring in a red explosion.

I also see the point of invasion mode. It's not about how much score you get, but it's about how long can you survive. I suggest remove the score, since nobody cares about score in this mode.

3. BUG: Suppose you have 10 HP left, and those rings do 10 damage. You got hit, but instead of dying instantly, the actual HP decreases slowly in step event.

4. I don't agree with the Rapid Fire mode, since it becomes a bit of a no brainer. Increased rate of fire results in this game becoming a flying shooter that shoots enemies non-stop. That is not the main goal of this game.

5. In Timed Mode, it is no brainer just like Rapid Fire mode as well. Since you have infinite health, you just use the cursor to hit every single ring you see.

Other than that, the game runs just fine.

The game is satisfiable enough for your level. I suggest you to move on to more complex projects.
