Meh, i didnt like it so much. He walked far too fast, i lost two lives when i died, and the goomba sprites weren't from the same game as the other sprites.
It's a good platform engine, but not a very good Mario engine.

Becuase most of the GM7 extra functions have already been done for GM6. And I learned how to use a computer on an Apple II C+, so I'm used to old stuff.
This is really nice. Although, it is getting really annoying having seen all the mario engines (I've seen far too many to count). It's nice and all but there's just so many mario engines, no one will never really need anymore. So I'll give this a 7/10
(I would have made the rate a little higher if it weren't mario up there... you should try mega man or something. Something like a mario game yet original at the same time.)

There's a few things I'd like to see in this engine. First of all, with the slopes, shouldn't the max speed decrease when going up and increase when going down? That would be a nice feature. Another good feature would be mushroom making you grow, to replace the healthbar, which is uncommon in most Mario games. Also, falling takes away 2 lives. Make it only take one. XD Anyway...
