 By Theodore III Game Overview This is a game where you can connect to your friends and play Chess. It is multiplayer only. It does include moves such as en passent and castling. Multiplayer Note When you are connecting to a game behind the same router as yours, you will need to use the Local IP address, but if you are connecting to a game outside your router, you will need to use the Public IP address and may need to set up port forwarding. For information on Port Forwarding go to: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=79904 (I'm not sure but instead of "GameMaker" as the name as described in there, you might need to use "Game Maker") Controls Press F2 at anytime in game to vote for a restart Press escape to end game/go back Press enter to select main menu things Use your mouse to select pawn promotions in the popup screen Credits ~Music~ Forgotten Hollow - Aeron ~Dlls~ NetRead.dll - Roach Download.dll - CompactSoftware gmZip.dll - coderchris ***EXTRACT THE GAME FIRST*** The dll's are created when you open it for the first time. The game may look frozen at times, but that is because mplay is uber slow. My router is teh suck, I can't play with anyone so there :( Also, if you are a loner and have no one to play with, play with yourself! Run two instances of the game, host on one and join at 127.0.0.1 on the other :D Target platforms:

Sweet, couple of things tho:
cant really see whatever that icon is in the bottom right corner caus it doesn't contrast enough with the background, you have to use task manager to quit the game. There wern't any dlls in the zip... Also, casshern hasn't downloaded it caus the downloads were 0 when i came to this page... oh and im giving it 10/10 even though I didn't manage to play,
@ Bozebo: you need to extract, the dll's are created when you open the game. Use escape to exit, it may look like it is frozen, but that's because mplay is slow :( just wait a bit.
The icon at the bottom is a mute/unmute, it's easier to see in game, and that is where you would actually use it. Casshern is one of my friends and has already seen the game. Thanks for the 10 :D.

I originally started it in mplay, and then I tried to make it work with EasySock, but the way I had done it in mplay was not compatible with EasySock, so I stuck to mplay.

I don't do multiplayer with my setup, but I think this has great potential. Though not the most original idea, you should add features to make it stand out as a chess game (customized sets, add-ons, single player, etc.). No one would think you're a ripoff artist unless you blatantly copied it... I think you're being a bit harsh there and I have no problems about you making one. Are you guys retards too? .......the point is, it hasn't been done with GM, to my knowledge, and not on 64D for sure. I thought it would be cool to make one, so I started one. I think I would know it's not original...and it's not with you having problems with me making them, but I know how people are, and they call other people "copiers" of others. Once me and my friend made a game together, and I posted on my account first, but then changed it to his. But people already saw the game up on 64D, and because of that they rated him lower than me because they thought he stole it or something.
