Here's the job of a few months' work. The game takes place after Metaknight's Halberd gets destroyed by Kirby (Kirby Fun Pack/Super Star) so Metaknight seeks revenge to kick Kirby's ass.
So far, this demo (number 3) features 9 levels, 5 enemies and a boss. Controls are simple:
-Arrowkeys: move
-Z: attack (both ground and air wise)
-Down+Z: low poke (ground only)
-Enter: cycle through conversations in cutscenes
-S: toggle sound (only in-game)
-Escape: exit
If you post a comment, I'd appreciate if you tell me if the game was too difficult for you, since I've got nobody but myself working on this.
I'm also open for beta-testing, if anyone is interested (will be shown on the credits if this project ever gets done) PM me or send me an e-mail to alanhatesyou@gmail.com

I liked how the enemies could be kept in the air after dying and moved around. Would of been nice if their death explosion could be used as an attack
Enemy variation seemed low, it could of used more things like flyby strikers and the like. Better to be short and filled with variation than long and dragging
Hahaha! That's not bad! I'm usually a stickler on fan games, but hey.. this is pretty entertaining! Good platforming mechanics, nice particles, awesome dialog :P Keep it going!
Very nice game, though I only played to the first boss. Overall it's not that difficult, but maybe lower the boss's health a bit. I'm not quite sure the dialog fits for a Kirby game, but it's still amusing. Well done.
The dialog font was hard to read and pretty much shattered every ounce of Meta Knight's already minimal character. And why does it take two hits with a sword to kill a Waddle-Dee? You could pretty much SPIT on a Waddle-Dee and it would implode from the power of the saliva overwhelming it. Hell, a couple took three swipes of the sword. That's obscene. The boss wasn't too bad so long as you were willing to be patient, but having to focus to kill a Poppy Bro. is a bit... much.
Enemies that I hit kept bouncing into me, and the sign that they're dead isn't obvious enough, so I'd often get caught getting hit by something i thought I'd dealt with. Never mind the aggravation of dieing when something that's merely getting pummeled by you bounces off a wall into you. If I recall, Meta Knight has a degree of gliding ability, if nothing else, which is absent, and up being jump while Z is used to attack feels a bit odd. I also recall him being able to shield with his cape, which with all the crap trying to kill him flying about would be nice addition for something as simple as holding the down arrow.
Music was WAY too quiet, and the health meter refilled a touch too slow when one found power-ups.
Despite all this, I give it a 6. I wanted to rate it higher, as the basic foundations of a solid game are here, but there's far too much room to improve.
Also, I'm sorry he loosed the Halberd. I know how terrible it is to loose something, but it's worth noting he's a bit of a sore looser.
