Sonic Armageddon (source code)
Well, since my sonic the hedgehog WIP is a pretty good start. And since at this point I have no plans of actually finishing it. I've reached the difficult decision of releasing my gm6 file. Yes, now everyone will be able to construct a sonic game of their own. If something isn't explained well in this file, checkout the engines that I've already uploaded they should clear up any problems. You'll have to make enemies, and probably make some more tilesets but, other than that, I wish everyone luck and hope to see some good games come from this.

Please, enjoy.

EDIT BY MELEE:

Seeing as FSX has not yet implemented game editing, Dr. Spazz posted the needed file at his last post, just in case anyone didn't see it.

Files aren't there... am I doing something wrong? Do I need to extract? Wait, it's a GM6...

Sorry, but I can't get it to work.

Yeah, the include file is missing apparently, but the actual game part works. It is an example though, so, I really don't think it makes that much of a difference.

Sorry forgot about that file, download it here. It's the text file for the opening level, put it in the folder with the gm file.

WTF?! Why only 5/10? This game is teh PWN!

Okay, I had a few beefs with it, actually. The game had a few bugs that seemed easily fixable (like if you were to make the spring object's mask smaller than the sprite), and a few physics errors. Also, it was completely devoid of enemies (but it's not like Sonic games are F.E.A.R. or anything). But other than those minor issues damn, this game was cool!

...

And also why was there music from Sonic R, that game sucked!

Yes you point out good things that were obvious to me (like the lack of enemies). The physics aren't perfect but I would apreciate more specifics then just errors, and what was the bug with the spring sprite?

I suppose it's about time for me to go and finish this game.

Not bad, but an awful lot of objects. Think you could use less objects?
