Mystery Manor
You find yourself in the middle of a murder, you have to Examine, Operate, Talk, and Use items to find evidence and crack the case. Just about everything is examinable and could be a part of the mystery. The game should take you maybe 10-20 minutes depending on how good you are at mystery games. Remember to examine things because sometimes it will help you know what to do.

The graphics are retro styled black and white and the music is custom made by myself.

- Unique Examine, Operate, Talk, or Use Item system.
- Around 20 items
- Over 20 interactive objects
- A (challenging) puzzle/mystery to solve
- Custom retro styled black and white graphics
- Custom music
- And more

Update:

V1.1 includes
- Arrow key or WASD movement
- Ability to pick slow or fast textspeed
- A few minor tweaks
- A new ending (sort of)

I'm winner, though I didn't get the last item or use all the items I had. Pretty good game, kept me playing :)

Yay, finished it. Quite fun, and mouse+keyboard combination worked. Graphics were fair enough, but music was really, and I mean REALLY annoying. I turned it of yes. Some sound effects would be nice. For actions in example.

Yeah, I knew the music would be hit or miss. I think it suits it well but that's probably because I made it.

And (spoilers) you don't use all the items, they are supposed to be in there to trick you. And there aren't 20 items, there are 19 but 20 slots for the same reason.

Ah, sneaky, so I did complete it properly :D

Thing is, unless I skipped out some dialogue or something, you never find out the killers motive?

The 'typing' style of displaying text is very anoying.
It's a good game, but I'm to tired to finish it right now

@ Marbs:
Yeah, now that you mention it I guess I sort of forgot to throw that in. It took me a while to plan out the game and design how everything was going to connect and then make it (somewhat) challenging.

@ _Player_
Yeah, I guess it's sort of a matter of preference. But if your a fast reader, I guess the text does go a little bit slow. I personally thought it would work out well, but like I said, a matter of preference I suppose.

The ending was a bit weird, but good game.

usually I skip ahead while I'm reading in-game text and only look for things that matter/search randomly

Yeah. If I do release an update, which I kind of sort of plan to do...I'll definitely add in being able to speed up text (greatly) by pressing some sort of key.
