At least the idiots who type "your" instead of "you're" have this excuse. Typing " ," instead of ", " is the exact same amount of characters. In fact they both contain the exact same characters, but just in a different order. It takes the same amount of goddamned time to type it properly. I, too, am a game programmer that has many windows open (16 right now) so I don't see what that has to do with anything. I'm still genuinely curious about how you could have possibly passed anything beyond, say, 5th grade English with these kind of communication skills. It's not just about punctuation and grammar. You're using some very bizarre kinds of word combinations. "I'm game maker". You're the program we all use? Cool.

If you want to know what I actually though of your game, here it is:

Graphics: On their own they're mediocre, but when combined together they're just plain bad since literally every single sprite pretty much has its own kind of graphical style, as if they're not even from the same game.

Gameplay: Very little variation. Every level is exactly the fucking same. I would know. I actually fucking wasted my time and played through them all. There's very little strategic depth in it whatsoever. Only two resources? Come on. And every building is basically the same thing, just with different costs. You also don't even display what the resource production is for each building, which is something that is pretty much required for this kind of game. The demolition mechanic was obviously just thrown in at the last minute and contrary to what you may have though it does not make it a better game, nor does it significantly differentiate it from the (superior) competition. In fact having to look at the stock resource explosion sprite and listen to its sound grate on my ears was actually sort of a punishment, rather than an added feature.

Sound: Not much to say here. It reeks of default/stolen sounds that don't even go together. My ears hate you.

Presentation: You at least had a menu. I'll give you that. Not a working menu, mind you, as the "clear scores" button didn't fucking work. Please. Please. PLEASE do not use show_message(), especially not if you're not even going to change the appearance of it (there are functions to change the looks of it, so it's inexcusable for anything other than an alpha release that isn't shown to the general public.) This game is also in dire need of a tutorial. How are we supposed to know that factories don't produce money. After all, aren't factories profitable in real life?

I hope you actually play-test your games before you release them on here next time.

Hasn't posted online being the key word. He didn't get any good feedback from other developers online. Plus, I doubt he's being literal with the hundreds part. He's probably also counting all the .gm5's he used when he first tried figuring out what the fuck he's doing. You'd be amazed how many .gm6's I had on my old computer when I still used drag-n-drop, and thought that "Sprite" was just a kind of soda.

Either way, it doesn't matter. He obviously still has a lot to learn.
