Sapphire Tears
If your network uses a router, you will NOT be able to sucessfully host matches unless you forward TCP port 3700 THE PORT HAS CHANGED FROM 3500 TO 3700!! Well, I suppose I should release this here, I mean, you can find it on the Reflect forums, and someone might feel betrayed or something. =P Anyway, as you all know, I've been working on a multiplayer game called Sapphire Tears. It's an FPS, and I don't mean one of those shoddy Doom example FPSes, either. It's proper. It's also a Reflect-enabled game, meaning you get the exact same account and server system you see in other Reflect games. Spiffy, yeah? Current Features: - 5 Multiplayer Game Modes: Free Play, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Dominator, and Capture the Core. - 13 Ammo Types, including Sniper, Rockets, and the Orbital Cannon. - 10 Gear devices, such as Camo, Energy Visor, and Explosion Barrier. - Ingame base editor - Create a unique new map before every round! - Online stat tracking and ranking system. - Unlockable badges and stats panel for your 64digits profile! - Come on, it's an online FPS! - I'm forgetting a few things, I'm sure. Anyway, here are the controls: Press Alt-F4 to end the game. [Lobby] Left Click a Setting : Increase Value Right Click a Setting: Decrease Value Shift + Left / Right Click: Larger Increase / Decrease [First Person Mode] WSAD : Move Spacebar : Jump Left Click : Shoot Right Click : Reload Mousewheel: Choose Ammo Type Hold Q: Scope Hold Q + Mousewheel : Adjust Scope Zoom Keypad 9: Hold if stuck in block * Keypad 5: Set Spawn Point * Keypad 7: Teleport to Spawn Point Home : Open Base Editor E : Toggle Visor [In Base Editor] Cursor Keys : Move Cursor / Adjust Block Keypad + / - : Adjust Cursor Height / Adjust Block Spacebar : Start / End Block Backspace : Start / End Delete Block Ctrl : Start / End Territory (When Territory is not set to Free Build) S: Start / Set / End Slope L: Set / Place Light End: Return to First Person Mode Keypad 4 / 6 : Rotate Camera Quick Base Editor tutorial: Move your cursor to where you want to place a block. Press Spacebar to start the block. Now, use the cursor keys and keypad to adjust the block's size. Place Spacebar again to place the block. Repeat the above steps, but with Backspace, to delete blocks. Ferret Edit: For latest update, please visit the Reflect Games page: click here! Target platforms:

-Make it so you can't put mines near core
I think that that would require to much programming. he is adding a limit though. -don't allow spawns near the core You can already bypass territory by killing yourself there.... people will easily get around that -make it so you can overlap your own territory w/out it making it a darker color Possibly Useful -for ctc, make it so you can lose points from suiciding Was in before, but as a bug. most people like to play water, combined with pits.... people will HATE that -also for ctc, make it so you can have sperate point for each person what is the point? -make it so each person has a overall statistics card. Like total wins/loses/games played. Kill points earned, and maybe a rank Too much programming most likely, as that would require editing of the reflect thing he uses, making it possibly more laggy.
Heh...they're just suggestions. The point of making it so in ctc, each person gets their own points, you could see how well you did after a match. Such as ctc's captured or grabbed. I also don't really think the wins/losses/matches played will lag anything. All the numbers are is about 6 extra numbers. I don't think that'll lag anything. Besides, JakeX already gets color variables off of reflect after logging in. I think the wins/losses won't really change anything.
-Make it so you can't put mines near core
what do you think the point of mines in CTC is!?? -don't allow spawns near the core sometimes people preload small maps, sometimes even tiny maps not allowing spawning or core placing to be possible with this on. -make it so you can overlap your own territory w/out it making it a darker color definately -for ctc, make it so you can lose points from suiciding No, people turn water on in ctc and some make traps for other players. -also for ctc, make it so you can have sperate point for each person no. -make it so each person has a overall statistics card. Like total wins/loses/games played. Kill points earned, and maybe a rank Maybe, would take a while to program, though
Awesome.
10/10 Just a few suggestions/bugs: -Make it remember mouse sensitivity with your profile. The colors stay, but the sensitivity is always in the middle. -Why can't I go fullscreen before I'm in a server? It's hard to read stuff in windowed with a large resolution. -Fix some of the ammo glitches. I've started a game with absolutely no ammo before. -Push back the draw distance when using the scope so it actually has some use. -Stuff (of at least the Rico) doesn't bounce off the cieling very well. It appears to bounce as if it had hit floor.
wow, it sure is downloading fast... =D.
I have -6 points because of kaz XD. Fixed? also a way to instantly go back to the chat lobby if spectator via :lobby? Also maybe health and ammo pickups in sone default maps.... maybe a little to much. Also no fog in spectator, editor, and visor mode plz... and a quality option Quote Current Features: - 4 Multiplayer Game Modes: Free Play, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Dominator. - 3 Ammo Types, a special scan vision mode, and a scope. |

All of crane game's suggestions I think would make it very unfair except these ones.
