Space Funeral is great and imma buy Halo.

I played Space Funeral this morning and it's great. Play it. Crapbeats anything Square Enix has made in a long time.

I care about the olden Halo games. I don't care for a new Halo and I didn't care about Halo 4. I probably wouldn't care about it even if it bungie made it. AAA-companies tend to drop in personality and style over time, just releasing well polished and advanced products, but without soul. Square Enix doesn't really make personal and inspired RPGs anymore, do they? Anime Barbie Dressup XIII.

Halo:CE and Halo 2 (MP!!!) are on my top ten. A bit below you will find ODST, Halo 3 and Reach. I even liked the Library level in Halo CE, despite not being supposed to. My favourite level is Assault on the Control Room, which is complete magic to me, despite just being a marathon of corridors->field->bridge->corridor->field…. It's just pure halo-mood-marathon with great music. Things does not have to be variated and innovative to be appreciated.

But I said to a friend: "-I'll buy it when it's cheap!". ~$20 is cheap enough.

Edit: Embarrassing misspellings, and I made a new low res type.

Does anyone really need another opinion of Halo 4? Nope, consider this a self-log. Here's my first impressions not so far in.

-Button-B does not make you punch. You can i no way change it to the classic-controls, which is just evil. I'm all for believing in your creative vision and changing things up, but not when it comes to locking players to as specific control scheme.

+You can sprint whenever. The control over the body is the tight stuff.

+Framerate is solid 60hz and it looks good. Very good lighting, and very intresting environments. It almost fells like you're in a world from metroid prime.

-I don't like the design new alien race, might get over it. The new alien weapons are just counterparts to guns in the human armory. Imagination, please.

I dont like halo 4 and didnt expect it to be that good.

HOWEVER, Halo2 Anniversary looks like itd be badass! (But if it is an expansion of Halo 5, then screw em. I'm not supporting a series that has lasted way too long for its own good.)

But, I will probably buy Destiny, because it is made by Bungie but they have taken a slightly different approach which I believe appeals to more people. Good move by them. Good company.

I don't count Halo 4 it as a member of "my halo universe", if you know what I mean. But as an action game on its own merits, it's entertaining.

The gameplay-footage of Ascension looks very pretty. The sky.. the sky!

I actually didn't like how 343 remade Halo CE, aesthetically. They changed the palette (way too saturated) and made every single metallic forerunner structure look like a super-dense hyper-light-computer instead of a slightly patterned block of metal. Of what I've seen of Halo 2 Anv. it doesn't seem make the same mistake. Still more saturated of course because of HDR or whatever they use nowadays, an improvement.

I hope destiny is great. Bungie has yet to make a bad game, afaik. Haven't played anything older than Oni.
