Thought I'd Sneak a Peak
Posted on July 26, 2011 at 11:29 ![]() ![]() Thought i'd share a few snippets of a map of one of the cities of a game I am working on. Though it's still in it's planning stages so I still do not have a final map or maps I figured it would be fun to share. I also do not want to give too much away this early on because theres a lot of specifics that are not final. It will be an adventure game with a party you build along the way - though I wanted to avoid the whole RPG level grind grind omgzers style so I am aiming more at a diverse adventure style game instead. I'll post more and more as it develops. There will be some character sheets and i'll post more on the general story at a later date. I hope someone enjoys this mostly unreadable and useless few pictures.

Some New Music / Video Game inspired stuff
Posted on June 20, 2011 at 19:34
Hey there, since I've been AFK for years, I thought I'd throw up some of the music I've been working on. Recently I've been working on music like the following track:
http://angellust.bandcamp.com/track/captain-at-the-wheel The intro on it is a little long, but it's still a work in progress, and there's a lot I plan on adding to it. The next track I uploaded is kind of my video-game inspired style that I've been in and out of over the years. I think this is probably the most recent track that sounds like what I am trying to explain that I am also somewhat proud of [or better said, not ashamed of] http://angellust.bandcamp.com/track/rings-of-saturn I also have been working on some hip-hop beats since the style always had a minor influence on my drum work in a lot of my songs. http://angellust.bandcamp.com/track/got-a-hand-in-it I uploaded those three tracks to here, and also there is another two I uploaded to this so I could give you guys a good 5 or so tracks that I really like. I also figured I'd upload them all so if someone was interested, they could just tab it and have it play through like a playlist. http://angellust.bandcamp.com/album/64-digits-upload Here is probably my most important musical feat I have accomplished to date: A cover of "I am so sad. so very very sad" by "Crash and the Boys": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2MdckMGsRw And here is my most recent EP I finished: ![]() ![]() http://angellust.bandcamp.com/album/sun-dog Hope you can stomach most of it, and like atleast one track. Give me some honest constructive criticism where applicable please~
Wow, glad to see this place is still around

I haven't been logged in since very early 2007, and today I was thinking . . 'Man, I wonder if 64Digits is still around.'
I was pleasantly surprised to see the place still kicking pretty well. I don't see anything by anyone I knew back in the day but I'm definitely excited to meet some of the people that post around here today. So what have I been doing? Well, I've really been pressing forward with music and less game maker. I'm working on several projects that maybe I will share at a later time. I'm going to have to go through and re-learn everything i /used/ to know about game maker, because the ideas i want to create keep haunting me in my dreams. There's nothing worse than waking up from an idea in the morning, and never going through with it; That's kind of where I was going with music for a while. Since the last time I've posted, most of my gaming consisted of nothing outside of Minecraft and Starcraft II. OK, that's not entirely true, but mostly relevant for the past several months. Well, to wrap up - I can't wait to get back in the swing of things, and meet all the newer members who I wasn't around long enough to know. I may also have to go through my blog and delete out some of the entries that may . . misrepresent me i suppose you can say. . :P |
