IndependentGaming Reviews and Zombies
Posted on March 26, 2008 at 12:00
I've changed a lot of things on the blog since I started it, and you should check it out once more. Now it looks great and makes some sense.
http://independentgamingreviews.wordpress.com/ There it is. Visit it daily. It's coming along really good, I'd say. There's pretty many viewers a day, and people seem to like it. I sure like it. I'm going to pick a GM game to make a review on, but can't really decide for one. On to my game project: I had a huge setback since I made a shop and new HUD and stuff, and realized later that it kind of made the game worse. I changed most things back to normal, and made it a bit more slick in the HUD design. Now it looks good. I don't know if the game is fun anymore, since I've played it and tested it for far too long, pretty annoying. My brother don't have a lot of opinions on it either. Makes it hard. Anyway, I'll try to finish it soon. ![]() Here's the logo from the blog. I thougt it turned out cool. What else is there to say..? I can't wait for Super Ninja Hunter to get done, same with Undead Rampage. Two really cool GM games. Now I'm off to play some Detoss Law. Enjoy the reading.

Here I'll post all of my games and their progress, and games I find exciting. I'll also review games from, for example, here. It's already awesome and it will be even more awesome in a bit, just make sure you check in on it once in a while. I'm supposed to post alot more. GAHH!!!! I hate 64 digits rules :). Here's some songs/poems I wrote: As the reaper took my hand, My spine froze My eyes closed And the stitches to my wounds Worked themselves together Oh Mr Reaper, when will I see daylight again? He replied "Never." We're killing, believeing, deceiving The sons of our fathers are we We're preaching and leeching then teaching I'll sing 'till the sky falls down on me Humanity is always falling Falling like them cowards flee Sometime we all will be crawling And that might just be you and me The dirt on our shoes, the bloodstains on you, would make you see through the lies against you We're killing, believeing, deceiving The sons of our fathers are we We're preaching and leeching then teaching I'll sing 'till the sky falls down on me Thanks, thanks.
They Came From (Where!?)
Posted on March 20, 2008 at 16:13
Ok, here's the deal: I need some help with a name for my zombie shooter. It's going to be named 'They Came From', but exactly where did they come from?
Worth knowing is that in the game you will play throug a Jungle, a hidden jungle Base and a City. The name should be cheesy, because that's what the whole game is trying to be. A pile of wonderful, stinking cheese. So please get your brain going and help me out, and you will surely be shining in the credits. Please post your ideas here too, I'm not saying I'll use them, but if something's good enough I'll merge it in. All you need to know is that it's a cheesy retro zombie shooter. So, to the progress of the game: I'm done polishing the game engine (I think), so now I'm building levels like never before. There's one nasty bug tho, involving things like getting stuck in the air above the view... Should be easy to get around anyway. I'll hear from ya later, and please comment. Until then:
Back in black

Well, I didn't start of very well with this site. I guess I were busy or something when joining, but I'll try to be active from now on.
My old project "Spartan: Metal Warhead" pretty much got scrapped, like most of my projects often do. On the other hand, I've started a bit with Game Maker again, and I have a project that's coming along quite well. At the moment it's called "THEY CAME FROM !?" and is a retro arcade styled platform shooter. And guess what? You shoot zombies. Alot of them. Here's some screens for you to enjoy: ![]() The menu. And the title is bouncing. ![]() At the very beginning of the game, basicly. ![]() Oh yea, he isn't just writing the words out for you, he says them to. In an ice cold smurf voice. ![]() Well, that's all for now. If you guys want a demo of it, please say so and I'll post one in a little while with the first level or something. Worth mentioning is that it's kind of a 'half-exploration' game too. Every room is quite big, and you will have to search every corner to find hidden treasure or switches and so on. There's ammo boxes scattered over the levels because believe me, you will run out of ammo... The screens shows a few zombies, but when you play you will encounter alot of them. None of them are smart, but there is variating types of them, like an infected bison running at you. And yes, I have a fetish for gore, so the game is quite gory ( At least for it's retro graphics.) Thank you and please comment :)
Germany, Lubeck and Spartan: Metal Warhead
Posted on December 03, 2006 at 12:19
Yesterday I went to Lubeck, Germany. After the 5 hours in the car from Sweden we finally reached the boat. This trip gave me a huge lot of ideas for my new upcoming game, Spartan: Metal Warhead. A boat, night, engines turns off, and then... You'll have to wait. To find out I mean.
In Germany I bought their world famous Marzipan (De-freaking-licious!) and alot of other good eatable stuff. Bratwurst and Chocolate dipped bananas is just a few of them. Lovable. The marzipan shop was - I mean it - Heaven. I've never seen something like it, with liqour filled chocolate bars, huge marzipan packages and wonderful wrappings. The best I've seen, ever. ![]() The curch in the back is Mariencirche, the biggest church I've ever seen. I also made practical jokes with alot of germans, sometimes by switching between five langues (Swedish, English, Spanish, German and French). The germans are so nice thoug so they all laughed and carried on after the talk, greeting me. I love Lubeck, and you better go there. Me and my best girlmate loved it. The pubs are the most cosey I've ever seen ^^! |
