Life
Posted on June 10, 2012 at 02:27

Sometimes I worry about whether or not I'm fully enjoying my extremely limited time here in this world. Then I consider how depressing it would be if I spent my entire life worrying about if I'm truly enjoying it, instead of actually enjoying it. Then I worry about how much I worry. After a while, I decide instead to look at silly pictures and feel better about life. Take out of that what you will.

I feel like leading a happy life is probably an extraordinarily simple thing to do, and as humans we just overanalyze the shit out of everything and make it a living hell.

I agree, mostly. Sometimes we're spot-on, but more often than not we overanalyze.

Some of the greatest achievements ever achieved by anyone have been made possible by overanalyzing things. Other times, great success is kind of stumbled upon. More often than not though, shit sucks, and if you happen to be overanalyzing your situation at the time then maybe you could become convinced the overanalyzing is part of why it sucks so much in the first place. Same with stumbling, and either way, you could be right. And if you're the type who's into finding some kind medium between waving your dick around and writing dissertations on it? Too bad, things'll fuck up anyway for completely unrelated reasons.

tl;dr: it doesn't really matter.
