Were you really skinny before you started the protein/workout regiment? I struggle to gain weight and it seems no matter what I eat I can't gain 1 pound. I'm starting to consider the gallon of whole milk a day thing, but I'm afraid my cholesterol will skyrocket, and even then, I might not gain any weight.

Just guessing because of your mention of squats/GOMAD/etc Personally, I drink 2-3 liters of skim milk / day. GOMAD *WILL* work if you eat other stuff on top of it. I went from 115->135 in a school year by drinking lots of milk and having a shitload of oats in the morning. My deadlift also skyrocketed from 145x1->270x1. If you need any help or anything just PM me / talk to me on IRC/ talk on MSN / whatever.
I actually haven't eaten oats since I started doing squats. I only did deadlifts back when I ate oats... (had no squat rack). Now I just drink 1-1.5L of skim milk for breakfast, lol. (36-54g protein, 48-72g carbs, 0g fat, 320-480 calories) Although I eat another meal like an hour and a half after that. I really need to start eating more at breakfast... I used to eat like 600-800 calories of oats, but that sucked and took a while to make. That was when I went from 115-135lbs in 6 months or so.
