Pole!!!
Posted on December 27, 2016 at 21:48

Uu uh uh! more pole dancing stuff ^^
Because it's super duber interesting! It even has vampires!
I have gathered a list here featuring some talented pole dancers whom I've come across browsing the web (in no particular order). Also check out this awesome comic strip:
http://poledancingadventures.com/

For debate regarding moves and such I refer to:
http://poledancedictionary.com/

Oona Kivelä
Show

Looking at a distance on her subtle frame oozing with feminine curves and overall smoothness you might be as shocked at the strength she posses like I was. Somehow intimidating. Hardcore.

I also considered highlighting another video where she's climbing for a long time really slowly rainforest style.
And one where she's body painted as a mermaid by Riina Laine. Generally just check out anything she's done really.

Eva Bembo
Show

I find her style very unique. She is outstanding both technically and artistically.
I saw a russian clip where she performs blindfolded. Dancing on pole and floor both. She even did a drop! So cool.

Magnus Labbe
Show

(Performance starts at 1:30)
Because Danish television! Magnus made it to the finals in this talent show which boosted his pole careeer further. He was also a judge at this years Pole Dance Competition Denmark.

Anna Valfsson
Show

Now here's a video that speaks for itself... I mean just look at all that!

Polina Volchek
Show

I have no idea who she is either but she's so good and original. I'll just leave this quote from a guy's YT comment because although I haven't a clue what it means he simply must be right in saying: "That starfish to spatchcock combination. OMFG."

Anastasia Skukhtorova
Show

She's just so damn good. It's truly a delight to watch.
The sensuality and grace mixed with unmatched control and skill.

Dimitry Politov
Show

This guy is unbelievable. A must see. I've seen him pop up in various interesting places like in a advert for pole Street where he backflips off 1st floor like it aint no thang. I also shared his fire performance on FB and my mom gave it a like (y).
Besides being one crazy airial dude he also does emotive soft performances. Nonending influences and skill.

This concludes my blog showing some talented pole dancers. I hope you enjoyed the brief introduction into this amazing world.
Oh and of course to round things off here's me having a go myself:

I really don't know what to say - but I still want to say something - but I'm glad you have found something different. I just would never have guessed someone posts a pole-dancing blog on 64Digits, a place of old lazy nerds...

@Jani
Heh, I have been blogging here for a long time. Although I appreciate writing techy game stuff it is my experience that the site can easily handle a far broader range of content. I enjoy the occasional surprise myself now and then so why shouldn't I give some back, y'know? ^^
People have posted stranger things before trust me haha, and phases where people would copy each others blog and start new trends has happened, and really I think even the personal dep blogs have helped the site develop. Maybe not so much those I wrote but overall :)

So why not really? If this site was still centered around GM6 Q&A it wouldn't be here, so let's keep the creativity flowing just like we do in recent more artistic blog events.

Back to the topic - thank you Jani, pole is quite different for me also. I usually sit on a chair coding all day, so it's nice to meet some new people who share a passion for dance. Dance as in "let's get bruised and wasted as f jumping bare skin into a steel pipe and repeat the process some times a week until we got it right" :D
It's a bit of a woman dominated thing but they've been nice to me so far. And actually being in good shape is something I haven't tried since I did taekwondo in my early teens. I remember it felt good though. Hopefully there's an opening for me, if I work towards it, on the competitive scene this summer. I have been doing much dancing already so all I really need is strength. And technique. And hardened flesh. And much luck. And a big smile ;)
