I'm not new here, and I know I've blogged before about a game I had made before, so please, Welcomes aren't necessary ^_^ And YES, i do know some of the foum formatting doesn't work here. Sorry, but it is as it is.
I'm voho, and I work with a team of my friends on a game called Halo: Out With A Whimper. I just thought i'd start a blog here to show the 64Digits community what we're doin. :) I think i'll just paste over my information post from where I work, Halosprites forums.
Heres the jist of it.
Halo: Out with a whimper is a new 2D Halo Fan game by Triblox and the OWAW team, led by Voho. The game is basically what the fans have been wanting, anything that is strongly wanted in the halo universe will be included within the game. It's single player campaign will be released this fall, and will be free of charge, and the Multiplayer game will be released later.
Let me post the two other Weekly updates I've written.
Welcome to the first installment of the OWAW weekly update. Each week, me and the team will get together and get some cool media and info to post up, along with videos of game play ETC. (Once the game has been finalized). This week, we have a short update, but we might have one earlier this upcoming week if me and the team can get some stuff goin'.
Today I will
have some pictures for you. We have a nearly finalized version of The main menu moving right now, and, I will be gracing you with Pic's of it today. Yes. OWAW pics.
Note: Any and all aspects of the level may be changed or removed before the games release.
Heres the menu, With background music that changes every other build :P: . As you can see, theres a start button, bringing you right into the Campaign Menu, which has yet to be made. We just link it to the first level for now. The avitar menu, ah, perfect! Let me show you.
The avitar menu, where you can choose your helmet, armor, and play around with your color. You may also choose your name and melee weapon here. And don't forget to pick your symbol, though only two are currently in.
Updates, another option on the menu, will bring you to the website, and allow you to download any new updates. This website may be hosted on Halosprites, too. (Being Outwithawhimper.halosprites.com)
And finally, The control menu. This menu has yet to be finnalized, aswell as the controls.

Hello, and welcome to the 2nd Halo OWAW weekly update. Theres been quite a bit done recently, specifically work on the 3D skies and AI. But thats not completely our focus, is it? Today we work on the almighty machines of war, vehicles. Something that could even scare a wild crispy! I'll split this update into sections, by vehicle, and may throw in a surprise at the end. Who knows? Well, lets get started, shall we?
PLEASE NOTE: ALL VEHICLES ARE IN BETA STAGE, THEY ARE NOT DONE.
The ghost is a one man Anti-infantry vehicle. It's twin plasma cannons and it's feirce speed can make it a strong enemy, especially when you don't have any anti-vehicle weapons, or a vehicle yourself. The plasma cannons are automatic, and deadly. The only thing that could stop this thing from taking down enemy aircraft, or jumping infantry, is it's inabilty to aim upwards. It's enemies must be infront of the vehicle to take damage.
The Warthog, the famous UNSC reconassience vehicle, has made a return in OWAW. In place of many seats to choose from, you can only take the driver seat as two AI take the place of gunner and shotgun (Though you get to conrol the gunner yourself). It can take alot of damage, and has many variations that may or may not make it into the single player build. But these beasts may find themselves in your hands this winter.
The quick mongoose has taken a pit stop from the halo 3 beta, and decided to take you for a ride this fall on your PC. Though, Not that this is considered a bad thing, it has gotten an upgrade. Featuring two light machine guns, this thing has become the UNSC's awnser to the ghost. It cannot aim upwards, as with the ghost, and can almost match it in speed.
The wraith has a turret now, in place of it's two plasma cannons, and it can be used by the player, with his Bot gunner in "Control". It's main cannon can wipe a mongoose from the feild in mere seconds, and it's boost makes it a formidable foe to infantry and foes alike. Be ready to get squashed.
The main vehicle of this article, the banshee. With a fuel rod gun and twin plasma turrets, it's ghostly turn will leave you in your grave. It's new mouse-driving system allows the player to control the soeed with the placement of your reticle, and can do loops with a move of the mouse. Being one of the only flying vehicles in the game, You can go up up up and up with it. Just don't go too far. Banshees in space don't hold up for more than an eighth of a second. You may exit and enter your banshee at any time, but make sure theirs ground beneath your feet, you might just kill yourself.
The AI we've been making have been in banshee training. Using strafing runs and their plasma cannons, these beasts are a load of fun to dogfight with. Be ready forr those dang banshee brutes this fall!
Packing a major punch, this motha can make waste to anything under a phantom. Infantry, BEWARE. The bot gunner shouldn't be neglected, either.
