You may know me, you may not know me, it doesn't matter, because you'll know me a little if you want to read my profile, but of course you don't. It isn't very interesting.
Anyway, have you played Rayman? No, not Rayman Raving Rabbids, but I mean Rayman 1/Rayman Advance? You know, the colorful limbless hero who can throw his fist to punch enemies really far away and make a helicopter with his hair? If you haven't, I'd say it's time you would. If you have, did you like it? You did? Great! You didn't? Well... stop reading this then!
For those who really liked it:
I just released an alpha demo ( for testing & bug hunting purposes ) for my game Electoons. It's a game based on Rayman. I thought you would know what Electoons ( no, not Electrons, Electoons ) are after playing Rayman. They're peaceful, little, pink creatures. But of course, there are Antitoons too. They're dark ( DUH? Anti = bad! ), mean enemies, and they serve the Dark lord, Mr. Dark. You remember him? He's the main enemy in Rayman.
He steals the Great Protoon, that maintains the peace and harmony in Rayman's world. That way, he can rule the world with his darkness! But of course, Rayman stops him, etc.
The game takes place at the same time and at the same places of Rayman 1. I can't tell you very much about the story yet, but I can tell you that there is an Electoon ( very left on my banner ) who travels to Mr. Dark just like Rayman. He's ahead of Rayman, and always makes the journey a little easier for Rayman as he proceeds ( for example, you, the Electoon, beated a powerful enemy, and when Rayman will beat the enemy, the enemy will only be half as powerful as he was when you beated him ).
Oh, c'mon, my fingers hurt. I hate writing too much.

This zip file includes:
- The main executable
- A Project File ( *.gmk ) for all those who have GM7 registered to look at the project's source code ( sorry, GM6 freaks! )
- All other files need to be extracted in the same directory as the exe/gmk file, otherwise the game will not be able to run.
For the controls, press F1 while the game is running ( menu or ingame ).
FOR THOSE WHO USE GAME MAKER 7:
If you execute the source code, you will probably see an error with an extension package. That's because you don't have the Winskin extension package installed. So download it here:
Remember, as this is a very very early alpha demo, this game does not include very much yet. Real platforming, bosses, etc. aren't included yet. This demo is just for testing purposes ( searching for bugs, etc. ). Example: There is only one enemy.
I didn't post this in WIP yet cause it's an early demo, as you all can see.
Oh but there is only one problem: the music. I hate having low quality music and I hate large filesizes. So does anyone have a solution in mind? Please post it here then.
