Our Own Jackass!
Posted on July 29, 2006 at 13:28

Today was a bit of a crazy day to be honest, we spent most of it filming ourselfs hurting one another. For example we filmed someone thowing a shoe at my brother, which hit him in the face lol, but don't worry he's fine. It was really funny! We were jumping out of bushes at one another, humiliating one another and filming it! We filmed my brother jump out of a tree and land on my back, and I ran and fell. There were 4 of us which was good. We are going to put all the clips together, play music through it and host it on YouTube!

Ok, on the topic of game maker I am focusing on my 3D engine, and PhotoWeb v3. For the 3D engine I need to make a map editor and then I will be able to submit it probaly, I'm not sure whether to post it as an example, or turn it into a 3D game, because the coding for this took me ages and is something of a higher quality, and I don't feel to good about letting the code run free with all the noobs and nooblets around.
Below is an image of my 3D engine with Zphysics, that is just a randomly generated map because I can't be bothered to make a real one.

The above image is thumbnailed because of its size

For PhotoWeb I have managed to design my own show_menu script which allows me to have pictures next to the text and change the menu skin, which is cool.

Current Status Of My Projects
Posted on July 25, 2006 at 01:44

Hello all, I would just like to inform you about the current status of my projects, as you probably know from the title. Anyway here it is:

PhotoWeb
Not much more done than what you've seen, atm I'm making it support more picture formats.

Airbase 101
I haven't touched this game in ages, everything I have done is what you see on the site apart from the unfinished online mode. Yes, I am attempting to make it online! Except its not really working.

Secret TDS
You might be getting a demo soon, but I doubt it, the AI is driving me mad!

Secret 3dEngine
Very good, once I get the mapmaking done I might release a demo. Atm the 3D engine supports my own 3D collision physics, and is very good in my opinion. It's not another nooby attempt to make ZPhysics, this one actually works, I'm not saying others don't work, just that most don't.

Well that about sums up my current projects. I might make some examples.

Well if you have bothered to read this then thanks. I had to resort to this topic because I don't know what else to say really, I have never blogged before in my life.

A Little About Me
Posted on July 24, 2006 at 04:57

Hi all, I thought that my second ever blog would be talking all about me and giving you a little infomation on my life, since my first blog was a little brief.

My name is Adam Yaxley and I am 15 years of age, my birthday being on the 15th March. My interests include playing on counter-strike, Game Maker, hot girls lol, friends, and being on the computer in general.

Game Maker plays a very important role in my life, I use it almost every day if I can. I have been using Game Maker for about 2 years now. I have made a few games/programs in my life, such as Airbase 101, PhotoWeb, and others that are too old/bad for anyone to know.

I have one younger sibling called Josh, and he is also into Game Maker, which is good becuase then you have someone to talk to about it. One game he has made goes by the name of Chain Reaction. You may of heard of it, you may not have.

In my school I am well known amoung my friends that I can make applications, but not very well known by other people.

Music which i like: Nivarna (listening to now), ACDC, Metallica, Papa Roach, Iron Maiden (Im going to see them in december), Sum 41, Pink Floyd, RHCP, Queen, Rolling Stones, Guns 'N Roses.

Thinks which I dislike: n00bs and chavs.

I also made a 1337 convertor that I might submit when I feel like it.

What A Great Start!

It seems that PhotoWeb has already made an impact on the community:

Wow, it's really cool isn't it!

Anyway, hi, I'm new here and I hope to stay as long as possible.

I really need to make a banner for my blog, I'll do it later on PhotoWeb!
