I'm using a Wacom Bamboo.
Wacom Bamboo Pen&Touch. I think either $100 or less.
well damn, i might be able to let go of a hundred for that.. thanks guys! =]
Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch
I'm using a Wacom Pen. I wish it had more pressure sensitivity though. I also dream of owning a Cintiq 21Ux. That looks amazing.
Intuos4, $259+
Wacom Graphire4
Wacom Graphire3
A Pen I think... The $75 Bamboo one.
I have a wacom bamboo fun pen and touch which is great. but I have zero inspiration/motivation at the moment so haven't really used it much.
"fun" although it has a stupid name, is much larger than the standard bamboo pen
I was actually about to post something similar to this because I've recently given up on finding the pen to my Wacom Graphire. I'm pretty sure I left it in one of my friend's rooms thats known for having things enter it and never return (not in the stealy way but in the messy unorganized way :P).
It sucked because I didn't have Photoshop and GIMP does not actually support tablets. In fact, GIMP tends to act like the keyboard and mouse don't exist if you try to use one, or maybe it just prevents you from giving it the focus.
I've already decided on getting a Bamboo Pen & Touch to replace it though. Pretty much everyone that has one loves it and they're only $81.99 on Amazon, and it comes with Photoshop Elements, which is already worth more alone than you're paying for the tablet. You'd save 10 bucks if you got the regular Wacom Bamboo Pen but the Pen & Touch has twice as many levels of sensitivity and Photoshop instead of Corel.
Wacom tablets:
Intuos: Pricey but great. Pro-level quality.
Cintiq: Disgustingly expensive, but oh so sexy, and closer to paper than other tablets (draw ON the screen)
Bamboo: Far cheaper. I hear many good/bad things, so I'd say if you want to start out with it, this is a great thing.
Inkling: Forever gay until I borrow a friend's and try it out.
Graphire: Discontinued model. Good riddance.
Why the Graphire4 still costs $400? I will never know.
Because it's wacom.
IMO it's almost like the Apple of the tablet industry. Only difference: I've yet to see a worthwhile competitor that has the quality I'm used to with wacom. :(
Wacom here too, which I rarely use anyways
but it's neat
My tablet is gathering dust right next to me... The last thing I created with it was that minecraft painting.
