Map generator
Generate random maps for your games. It can make beach, hills and mountains+snow. You can export the maps as .bmp (see image), or as heightmaps for 3D games.

This was pretty cool. I generated like 30 different maps.

Very cool little example. It would be even better if we could see your code (wink wink, nudge nudge)

You should of put this up as an example. We all want to see the source code.

Yes, i agree it should be editable. It's pretty sweet, could easily be used for a game like Civilization. I only wish that you could set the climate, more snow, more hills, more water, etc. It seemed to make a lot of tropical areas.

That one is larger, but the differences in terrain are really jagged in that one. I'd love to see them blended.

Hey.... i know how to get a random number which will most likely be close to half of the max numb... but how would i get one that is more likely to be closer to 0 or the max number? i just need to know this because i decided to take a crack at making a terrain generator too... since we can't see the source for this one.

I saw this earlier off one of your blogs or something like that. This was very interesting, but yeah, it would work a lot better if we had the .gm6 file.

This was definetely interesting though, good job. 9/10
