I decided a while ago to save myself a bit of money by figuring out all the math and code for 3d in the lite version GameMaker. This is what I have so far. I have the basics of it down, except for a wierd warp effect which I'm working on fixing.

Anyhow:

Controls:

-Arrow keys move camera foward, back, and to the sides.

-W and S move camera up/down

-mouse angles the camera

Also, if you can find him, there's a little dude who I'm using as a test of a 2d sprite in my 3d environment. He's controlled with the I, J, K, and L keys.

Problems/Glitches:

-Warp effect (straight lines end up curved)

-sometimes, a line behind the screen is drawn across the screen when it shouldn't.

Features:

-3d pyramids and a 3d line(to test for warp)

-little 2d dude who moves in 3d

-camera movement

-horizontal camera rotation
