Crash Lander 1.1
Fly around 5 levels of this retro-styled arcade game in order to get the highest score, you will loose points by merely seeing time pass and crashing into walls. To gain score you'll have to grab the orbs that are scattered around the levels. This game has only 5 levels because If I had tried to make it longer I know I would've never finished it. The game also includes an external mp3 player to play your favorite music track while you play this polished game.
The game may get you frustrated at some points

Updated to v1.1
-Now you can pause by either pressing enter or 0 on the keypad
-Intro animation is twice as fast
-Score Reduction by time is now half (-1 pt for every second)

Target platforms:

I thought the game had a nice feeling to it, but I didn't like how the score went down so fast. It went down TOO fast.

On another note, I need to get back to my own game. 7.5/10 for this.

its alright... Its fun, but it would be nicer if there were rocky graphics and a cave-like background.

This inspires me to make a 2 player online crash landing race game.

Pretty cool game you've got here. I like Lunar Lander games, even though I'm no good at them. It's awfully short and simple, though.

Kinda short, though I didn't try to get any pts and all,so...
Should have a timer and display how long they took at the end
Oh,and the SFX were kinda weird with the loud deaths and all.I duno, might be late

Simple and it works decent. Short game though. I wish the controls were a bit more "Gravitar-ish" where you could rotate the ship. Would make it a bit more difficult. If you were going for the Lunar Lander style the mouse could have been used in place of that big ol' thruster bar to adjust the thrust. Well, at least this has more of a goal. 7/10

Actually quite fun game. But it annoys when you can't just skip that menu animation...

I've done a speedrun of this game
And I'd agree with stampede

I tried some speed runs, and the only thing I complain about now is pausing with the down arrow. I kept pressing it because I'm used to going down with the down arrow. I think space would be easier/better. Your call though.

if you really want it to be retro then it shouldn't be stretched and filtered. It should have used 320x240 in absolute black and white, or a 4 color gray scale. I liked the game... reminds me of one of those hardcore arcade games...
But only gets a 7 because it's a too easy to make and not very polished either.
