Composition
In this experimental project, you guide a nameless character through an ever-changing environment, making use of various abilities to progress. Hold the right arrow key to move; additional controls will be explained when necessary.

Remarks

* Press the right arrow key to begin.
* If you find yourself controlling two characters at once, use the down arrow key to move them both.
* Don't rush! If you're careful enough, you may even discover some hidden paths.

Reminds me a lot of Xorpl. Interesting little game here.

Agreed, this does resemble !Xorpl rather heavily, which is a grand compliment. I saw this on 'Game Maker Games' before I saw it here.

I like it.
I like the very simple graphics style, along with the hidden paths. I think you should let us be able to run into our dooms, though.

I found it odd before finding you to be Time Wraith that it a credit to Jabberwock and said 2008 Time Wraith, what caused the increase in handles? That oddity makes the similarities to !Xorpl unsurprising
So instead of letting us die you make pathes up that if we go up cause us to fall through the floor and force restart?

Simple, but looks and feels nice and polished. The game reminds me of those exploration games that is a seemlingly endless maze, like Knytt and has potential to become games as big as Seiklus. The music is very suiting of the whole abstract-y feel.

Wups, lookie there.

Anyway, the simple graphics are pretty entertaining, but the whole idea for the first few levels seems kind of bland. As far as I see, it's a very simple puzzle with no deaths, but I really only played until that bug.

That being said, I'll hold my rating.

Meh, it was different... Not origianl though. I wish perople would make more of an effort with the graphics in these games though, it sort of put me off finding secrets.

This is ridiculously good. Graphics and music really fit. Though I can't get past the ice place... I always go back to the start. Haha, nice dance party btw. XD

How is "different" not the same as "original"? And how could this game be considered unoriginal anyway?

I like it a lot, but I'm biased considering I made the music. :/

Seeing as there were two comments concerning another root, I'd say this wasn't entirely original.

In the world of novel-writing and game design:
Original - Not based off of other ideas or concepts, completely created from scratch and imagination.
Different - Not like your ordinary game. A game can be unoriginal and different at the same time, based on how repeated the concept is.

So yeah, they can be different.

Lots of potential for expansion here, especially as a puzzler, although I get that maybe it was just meant to be an 'experience'. It was polished and I like the general mechanic (and finding the secret paths) but would've liked a bit more of a challenge personally.

"Different" is a pretty darn vague word.

And yeah, it is a pseudo-sequel to !Xorpl, I suppose... but it differs significantly in gameplay mechanics and other areas too. Oh, and I'd say nothing can be created *totally* from scratch; it is impossible to avoid outside influence altogether, as human beings.

As a writer, I can actually say that no idea today is ever original. Everything's been done before, and as you stated, many of our ideas come together from outside influences.
