Target platforms:

Well this game has a bit of an odd twist to it. I can honestly say I haven't seen an isometric Invaders before, but it's interesting enough.
For being a completed game, it really lacks polish. Barely any level or room transition makes it look sloppy, as do the single-image animations.
The big plus you have is the online highscores, which I always like.

Anyway, it could really use a bit of touching up. Other than that, it's a basic Invaders game.
8/10

The high point for me was, of course, the highscores, with sprite style closely following. The gameplay is alright as an invaders clone, but a few things bothered me. With the invaders and everything facing diagonal, why do the bullets go straight up and down? That, and sometimes even when a bullet looked like it hit, it doesn't, forcing you to aim slightly left when shooting the invaders. Oh, and there's not enough of a difference from one level to the next either. Other than that, the gameplay was solid, though those three things are important.Graphics were nice overall, I didn't like the transitions though, and the highscroes didn't fit in with the rest of the game graphically speaking. The sprites look really cool though, thumbs up on those. The sounds are annoying, just like they're supposed to be in an invaders clone, so nice work. (XD) Overall prety good, but lacks some polish, I'd recommend revising some of those things and releasing an update.

My goal for this game was to make it as close to the Space Invaders(1978) coin op as I could, timing, animations, sound and scoring, with isometric grafx, which was a slight problem when it came to the timing, but I'll put it up against any GM remake of Space Invaders as far as it being faithful to the original, except for the isometric tweak. If you don't like Space Invaders(1978) you might want to skip this one, thanks.

@s= Maybe a color version. If I want to impress the mainstream mob, I should put a video of myself taking a shot to the groin area up on the splash screen. When you have the time, could you add one more slot to that sweet ass, non intrusive highscore system of yours.

@Nighthawk= Ya, I should dress up the highscore, maybe isometric in the near future.

Edit= Any 64digit user that can top my new highscore shall receive the limited copper addition of isovaders, via pm.

This game looks quite lovely to me, I'll download it momentarily.

@Mu6502 - I'll be satisfied to take up your challenge. What is the 'copper addition' that you speak of, may I ask?
