Sting Ray
This is an 8 stage shoot 'em up. It features HUGH bosses. You will fight through deep space and over the surfaces of three planets. This game has some spoken speech.

Hmm...the program complained about CNCS232.dll being missing. Heh, if I remember correctly, that dll pertains to games made in Multimedia Fusion, which I haven't heard about in a long time. Have you been uploading your old works this whole time? Though at the rate that you are posting games, I'm gonna have to unfront some of them because they're taking up too much space on the front page.

Anyways, compared to your other games, this game is not as ugly looking, though I admit that it gets pretty repetitive and I'm not really motivated to keep going through the other stages.

On another note, you sure churn out games fast. You might want to hold off a bit and produce a game of a bit higher quality than the ones you're currently putting out.

I am including the CNC232 in the update that I am now uploading. But, I just don't understand why you think some of my other games are so ugly looking. I use Poser and another program to create some of the graphics for my games. These programs always render everything cleanly. The graphics that I render from these programs are always clean, colorful, and have a lot of detail. So, it is hard for me to understand why you think some of my games look so ugly....

Prerendered graphics are not always bad when consistently used (e.g. Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct), but the inconsistency between your prerendered sprites and your games' simple, repetitive background textures can really ruin the feel of the game. Either prerender the backgrounds as well or make the sprites yourself. One suggestion is rotoscoping over your renders to create pixel art.

Thanks for the idea. I think I may try that!

frankie is learning

stay golden, frankieboy

edit: in all seriousness though I can't wait to see frankie's new project after taking some graphical advice.
