Simple Vortex

This simple example uses particles to show you an example of a vortex. This example is something that you could export out of the upcoming Particle Designer 2.0(with some alterations).

It includes only 2 particles, and the use of the particle system.

EDIT: Press space to change the type of vortex. All this does is change the y scale of the particle, but it has different appearences.

Credits would be great if you ever need to use this particle. :) (not required)

hey thats nice ^^

just two things, the inner part isnt always round (I would like it more as beeing completely round)
the particles which are sucked in are created after the room border...I'd like it more to have em created outside so they are sucked in in the same speed....but, its an example afterall and its up to the user to use it.... 8/10

The pic really doesn't do the actual look justice, so for the people that are looking at it, it looks very good. 9/10, and will I have to give credi if I put this in my trret defense game? Just out of curiousity is all.

Lol. I made an update really quick. Now you can press space to switch through 3 types of vortex. It also displays the FPS ;)

The second and third effects are both really neat. Even though in concept it's not that hard to come up with, it's a very well done effort with strong visual appeal.
