Project Started: November 13th, 2005

-The Team-
DFortun81 - Programming, Design

Changes Resolution: No
Window Size: 640x480
RAM Usage: 100 MB (rounded up)

In the game, you control Dylan, a new recruit of the DIA who gets thrown into an awkward situation of keeping the peace in a war torn country.

An Engine for FFT Movement and Selection is Now Available Almost exactly like the engine I use in PK, 'cept with minor changes here or there.

The engine includes: (so far, I will update more when I get closer to finishing PK)
-Movement, Cursor Selected
-Selection, Multiple Player Units
-Move, Act, Wait

Link 64D Topic: DIA FFT #2: Selection Engine
You are probably wondering when I will release a Full engine, that wont be until I am 100% done with Peacekeeper. I can't have clones running around stealing the stoplight. ;)

Battle Strategies -After taking damage from an enemy and it moves its full range in distance, it'd be a good idea to move AWAY from it. It will try to move to you, but will be unable to reach, then you are free to attack him.
NOTE: When the enemy can use magic, this Ability strategy sux.

-The 'Wait for Them' Strategy, It's where you're far enough away to not get attacked and you Wait until the Enemy is within range of one of your Abilities.

-The 'All out' Strategy, It's where all of your guys are in a group Only attacking a single unit until he dies and then going after the next one. I do my best to make this strategy harder to get in Missions, (spreading your Units out etc.).

Credits NOTE: I do NOT make my own sprites or music. Various Resources -- RPG Maker XP

Music and Sounds-- VGMusic Super Sound System -- tsg1zzn

DSG commented August 02, 2006 at 3:16 AM

DSG commented August 02, 2006 at 3:17 AM
so, gameplay aside, its a 10/10
DFortun81 commented August 02, 2006 at 3:33 AM
I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking of having 2 types of Gameplay modes. Turn Based and Tactical, switchable from the Main Menu.

The Sprites are from RPG Maker XP. (edited of course)
Eva unit-01 commented August 02, 2006 at 4:14 AM
PEACEKEEPER!..i styll give it its 10/10
V commented August 02, 2006 at 7:26 AM
this layout and everything seems an awful lot like it was made by RPGMAKER XP, but you used the graphics from it of course, so i s'pose that would make sense.
V commented August 02, 2006 at 7:31 AM
pretty good, i liked it. 10/10
Tyranic-Moron commented August 02, 2006 at 7:36 AM
Nice! Difficult though. 10/10
DFortun81 commented August 02, 2006 at 8:27 AM
Thanks for your positive comments everyone.
Craee commented August 02, 2006 at 9:23 AM
This game was really good. But i found a little problem... If you get done with the training and then take the elevator again then you are outside the room! But it still get 10/10
KraZKat commented August 02, 2006 at 2:54 PM
Well now this is becoming an RPG movement It'll be like Relic.
For all you PK Fans Relic is being made by me, and it is THE OFFICIAL PK PREQUEL!
Amarin commented August 02, 2006 at 3:42 PM
Alyssa Valentine is a companion game to Peacekeeper. Dylan is in it, and he's playable in Deathmatch mode. Coincedentally, DF81 made a character named Jill Valentine! :P
She's going to be in Deathmatch mode, as well as the other PK characters.
Ukryu commented August 08, 2006 at 12:54 AM
OMFG nice game ;D How many days did you not sleep in to make this?!

A 10, though I had a lot of error messages though I doubt it's the games fault.
treeburner commented August 13, 2006 at 2:35 PM
cool the graphis a great! but I didn't much care for the game it self because I'm not really a fan of tactical rpg's but if I was I wouldn't stop playing this game 10/10
Nth Deg Innovation commented August 18, 2006 at 12:47 AM
There were a lot of errors that kept coming up, and eventually, I had to quit :( However, I could see that you put a lot of effort into this, and it was very well done (I loved the cutscenes. Those were amazing). Anyway, I can only give you an 8/10, because of all the errors that eventually took me away from playing this. Good job on what I saw, though
DFortun81 commented August 18, 2006 at 3:39 AM
Do you know what the Errors said?
Eternal commented September 07, 2006 at 12:31 PM
AWESOME! i'll give it it's first review
9/10, it missed the 10 by a little bit...

Great Review...

DFortun81, Can you explain what the DIA is? I can't play right now because of my lack of sound driver.
DFortun81 commented September 08, 2006 at 3:35 PM
The DIA... Is like the DIA of the United States, they gather intel on enemies, and plan attacks on stuffs.

Defense Intelligence Agency, same as the real one. Although that's not what my company stands for...
Ra commented September 27, 2006 at 2:30 PM

NeutralReiddHotel commented October 15, 2006 at 2:13 AM
Played it at school, and it rocks. 10/10
squeakyreaper commented October 21, 2006 at 7:41 PM
Incredible. You already know how much I love this game. I can't wait for it to be done, but I have to. However, I really want that online feature...

For the sake of this being the best game on 64digits, 10/10. Note that this is not a review score, just a rate. Reviews are much more brutal.
Amarin commented October 28, 2006 at 2:39 AM
Better than HT3D.
DFortun81 commented October 29, 2006 at 5:34 AM
Better than HT3D.
Pfft. I doubt that. The NEXT version may be better, but not this.
Auraofend commented October 31, 2006 at 2:55 AM
O.o The main char's name is MY name.
Pretty good. 9/10
DFortun81 commented October 31, 2006 at 5:23 AM
The main character is me. XD
Amarin commented November 04, 2006 at 10:38 PM
I'll help you make a 3D sequel. All we need are the graphics. You can take care of the 2D stuff. Oh, and here's another 10 for you.
DFortun81 commented November 07, 2006 at 1:56 PM
The sequel and Side story are going to be 2D. That is... if I ever get that far.
squeakyreaper commented November 10, 2006 at 5:38 AM
Two things;
1 ) Don't double vote and stuff. This is supposed to be a public vote, not just yours.
2 ) I don't like HT3D, as it has nothing to do with melee weaponry nor magic. Therefore, it fails in my mind. But since I think differently from most, I won't down rate it.
DFortun81 commented November 10, 2006 at 5:45 PM
Well said.
frenchcon1 commented March 22, 2007 at 4:10 PM
