OKAY! I FINALLY GOT IT FINISHED! Orginaly... this was going to be my very first game ever made with gm6; I left it alone for far to long. For the last few days I decided to work on it again. So I did and finished a bunch of things in it. I thought of making this into a game example.
(Note: This is an old game...
the graphics suck... coding is simple [there is tons in this game that is very simple], and when I made this I had just gotten the regestered version of gm6, so there's not a lot of regestered things in it. Just remember that it's old and it was the first thing I ever made with gm6... ) Oh, and orignally this game was going to be called "plains of estaria, and the characters names aren't changed.

The collisions aren't very good. Someone can learn a few things from this...I thought the sprite "(Game Title Here)" was drawn by GM. 8/10.

Wow, I didn't like the engine's movement at all!

I see you used the save and load method for the pause menu, I don't have the registered version, but I did look around your GM file and I noticed you had a pause room, so I decided to look deeper into that and I found out that you used the save and load method.

There are some stuff that can be learned, and I get a good glimpse of how good this could be as a full-blown game, but the controls and the collision detection are too glitchy. 5/10

did you not see? this was the first engine I ever made... yet I improved some things to it. Like the shadows, and all that. So remember that this was (THE 1ST) game (turned into a crappy example) I made with game maker 6 came out. P.S: and yes, I agree. the movement and collision suck but I didn't really know how to do that kinda stuff when I made this...
