Legend speaks of an island deep in the folds of the Pacific Ocean... An Island smitten with a Curse. Follow Niu, the unlikley hero in the form of a coconut as he releases the Sprits of Sorrow from their wooden prison and unravelles the The Curse of Kaumaha...... The island waits for you.

(Note: This game may run slowly on old computers, so you might need to set the graphics setting in the pause menu. Just press enter to pause and adjust)

I was first, and I must say, that is quiet ...Yea...

It is just a big bunch of good graphics...

I kept getting stuck in the horizontal elevator things, then i couldn't teleport from the cup, so i found out oyou had to be completely right to do it, then i didn't free enough spirits, HOW DO YOU FREE SPIRITS!?! I tried everything, game isn't that great
raketooy commented July 13, 2006 at 1:29 PM
I liked it. A lot. 9/10.
Theonlywonderboy commented July 13, 2006 at 2:03 PM
Wow this game is great. Good graphics gamplay every thing. I like the idea of using the torch to kill the eneimes. Very inovative.
10/10
Amarin commented July 13, 2006 at 2:07 PM
It said you didn't download it.
Game Fortress commented July 13, 2006 at 2:09 PM
chIkEn, you either missed the tutorial or didnt read it. Dont knock my game down for a reason like that. (all you have to do to use an elevator is press up. free spirits by killing enemies with the tikitorches)
Joewoof commented July 13, 2006 at 2:18 PM
Actually, it's surprising that anyone can miss the tutorial. Anyway, great game.
poultry commented July 13, 2006 at 2:34 PM
I killed all the enemys... i was on tutorial also.

I also got stuck on the horizontal elevators.
Game Fortress commented July 13, 2006 at 2:38 PM
You have to throw fire into the bowl to get out of the level if you have freed enough spirits.

Chiken likes to go around down-rating games like that... just delete his comments to null his crappy vote. Come on Chiken, stop being jealous of good work and go make some yourself, for once.
brainfade commented July 13, 2006 at 4:17 PM
WTF? average rating 7? 10! >:(
Craee commented July 13, 2006 at 6:49 PM

Amarin commented July 13, 2006 at 9:22 PM
ChIkEn likes downrating games, huh? If I released Alyssa Valentine, he probably would downrate it.

Game Fortress commented July 13, 2006 at 10:04 PM
XD oops. I will fix that.
melee-master commented July 13, 2006 at 10:23 PM
Wow, that was really good GF. Awesome graphics, it was fun and unique. Keep it up.
poultry commented July 14, 2006 at 12:40 AM
O_o

I didn't downrate it, I gave it a fair rating, because I thought the game was extremely flawed.

6 year later admin edit: You really considered a 1 to be a fair rating? A 1 is like a glitchy tutorial edit.

The Curse's flare was never in being a fast action in your face reflex test like some people expect platform games to be. Mostly, I wanted to set up a mysterious enviroment; somthing that people couldent quite put their fingers on. I wanted Kaumaha to seem like somthing... different than a typical game. I personally think I suceeded there, but it has made the game unpopular with many.

I love this game. This inspired me to keep working on my first game, Coconut rage.
I love the whole thing about it, the msuic, the story. The graphics! I love it. 10/10

Incrdible. No time to review, so I'll round to 9.
RPR commented July 15, 2006 at 1:32 PM
Great stuff this is... Is that flame attack something totally new? It's so cool but I've never seen it before. I could say that the game is tempting and really enjoyable experience. 9/10.

cool game lots of fun but it does get boring after a while
Jabberwock commented October 26, 2006 at 11:26 PM
Yeah, this is a really good game, but eventually I got completely stuck, i.e. there were about five levels I hadn't beaten and they were all too hard for me. :(

Nice work anyway, though. Something in the vicinity of a 9, I think.

BTW, is CoK2 still slated for release on teh 31st? I'd like to play it.
Pobble-Wobble commented January 14, 2007 at 2:56 AM
Excellent, though it IS really hard. =P
Visor commented January 23, 2007 at 10:28 AM
This game is pretty neat.

Loved the torch idea.
Crane-ium commented March 29, 2007 at 2:47 AM
What the heck? It's crazy laggy once I start the tutorial...looks like a fantastic game, just WAY too laggy, and it's not like my comp sucks either...you have way too much going on...

Whatever...I won't rate, I just won't get to play this game that looks awesome. Whatever...
