Walk of Darkness Demo

A demo of my current project, originally developed for S4D 2013 and now progressing beyond that.

Decided on the name "Walk of Darkness" since "Darkness" was a little too generic.

Arrow keys: Move
X/A: Jump
V/S: Whip
F3: Fullscreen
F4: Change screen scale

Just a single boss battle. After you start the game, collect the two upgrade orbs and the boss will appear.

that's pretty good popularity, although i have to say, the other 11000 must get about 1 view a year or something. how do you start off that high in popularity when you just added the game?

Any idea when you'll update this to include a little more? :P

Oh, it started out higher; Must start at a median value or something.
The next 'update' is going to be the full release, I hope.

I liked the controls and the fluidity a lot, but I will say that being thrown into a boss battle, when I have no story or attachment to either character, makes it slightly less fun. But it was very polished, for what was there. You could definitely tell that, with some time, this will be a lovely throwback to the NES era!

Yeah, it started out as sub 1500... that's a crazy jump! Strang algorithms be damned!
