Yes, this was my first game in GML, and I've learned a LOT thanks to this.

I was going to make a full game with levels and enemies, but nobody would play it because of the graphics, besides, kind of hard would be to draw enemies with draw_line(); functions. =\

Some stuff on the Info is wrong, and I was too lazy to fix it, so sorry.

Not too bad (much better than your last game). There were a couple of glitches when jumping onto the ledge of a new platform, but besides that it was a solid engine. Some acceleration/deceleration would have been nice, as well as variable jumping. Sound effects and music would have completed it, but you already knew that.

The game lacked mainly in substance. It got boring fast because there were no new elements introduced as the player advanced in the game.

Took an hour, but it was worth it. The game uses only drawing funtions, so don't bug me about the graphics.

And thanks poly, I have something really awesome planned for this. Something I've always wanted to put to a platformer. =)

It is nice, smooth gameplay and scripts.

Graphics: Can't say anything good, but hey, whats wrong with simple explosions. - 8/10

Sound: Um, yeah. No sound... 7/10 because it is a WIP but it makes the game better even if there isn't complete game yet. - 7/10

Gameplay: Not bad, but sometimes the controlls glitch a little, but that is common in Game Maker. - 9/10

Overall: 8/10
Nice game, not an original design or cool effects, but it works. Also, some wierd things that I found strange were,
1. Menu controlls in help file (you had to navigate menu to get there)
2. When Esc was pressed in game a message said "Going to Main Menu" - duh
3. You coudn't end the game with the Esc button

nice game, it's nice to play and the engine is solid, and there's nothing wrong with the graphics at all. if there is any problem with anything even related to graphics, it's the fact that the resolution is changed. i really hate that. the only things that take down your score were lack of music, and motivation. the countdown is a good effect, but you can just restart the level without ever finally getting a 'game over' and going back to level 1. otherwise, this game is great

This is a cool game, but some levels get annoying because of a few places you have to get nearly falling off the platform, and you can't stop walking or you run out of time.

Menu strings shifted, could of had the hyphen drawn without insertion
Enemies wouldn't be too hard, draw a few rectangles over each other and with connected lines and the like
The CheckPoints should of stored the check's ID and then placed the user at the XY instead of using game_save, so that the time wouldn't reset
LvDesign could use some reving up
Overall it was alright I suppose, though it wasn't the most savory of things
