Included Files:
GM6 Version
GMK Version
EXE Version
Three Sample Music Files

Uses the BGM and Bass dll to create a simple Music Player in GM! It even plays MOD and OGG files!

Foxedit: This is missing a few DLL's at the moment, the correct version will be up momentarily.

Nighthawk17: I'm having trouble uploading a fixed zip, so until it's all sorted out, just download the dlls seperately and insert them into the folder with the example.

Not bad. (The bass DLL wasn't in there, so I just threw it in there from my files)
Very easy example of the bgm DLL, and how to draw file names. That's
not amazingly hard, though, so I'm only giving this an 8.

PS, I wish I could write music like that -.-

EDIT: Oh, and I just noticed that when you try to load a song, then hit cancel, it gives you an error. You can ignore it and move on, though.

does it pause songs? If it does that I may download :)

Well it doesn't seem to work in this example, but the BGM dll (which this uses) does.
Since the dlls don't seem to be in there, you can download them here.

@hoodedhoundx: I know the answer to all of your problems. Not. I have the same problem, so I just right-click on the file and select "copy shortcut" and paste it. Example:
