The sequel to FKR, another of my games. It's now more psychedelic, more skilfully made and hopefully less boring than before. Use W, S and Enter to navigate menus, see the help file for more information.

Ahhh my brain...

awesome menu!

not to much to say about the game, except that it is way to hard to know where everything is. Make the 'clearlines' more frequent. Graphical effects are good, but the way that the circles are drawn look out of place.

7/10.

10/10 menu, but that's not a major part of the game, or rating.

Pretty, but too slow
gamerman commented September 07, 2008 at 2:35 AM
looks awesome, and plays well. did run a little slow for me, but nothing to bad.
Siert commented September 07, 2008 at 2:46 AM
Wow, I love the style! (I, for one, experienced no lag)
The game starts really slowly. I easily got 14K without moving the entire game. Sounds were okay. The music fitted and the sound effects, um, were not there... Original gameplay, although it was somewhat difficult to hit the baddies. Some improvements could be some more enemies, online highscores, sound effects and possible power ups.

Cool game, i got 21000 on my first go. Music was awesome and suited the game perfectly. I often found my self admiring the graphics as opposed to actually playing the game.

Didn't your mother always tell you to clear your buffers first!
CoolGamrSms commented September 07, 2008 at 4:11 PM
I like it. I think I know what you did though. Did you turn off the use of background color?
Notalot commented September 07, 2008 at 4:34 PM
@CoolGamrSms: Yes, although I also used a transparent moving background to get rid of the "trails" fairly quickly.

@All: Thanks for the feedback.

Smart idea! I used to use that setting a ton when creating screensavers. It can be used for some sweet effects, if you know how.

This game is really really... relaxing. Even in 'fist' and 'boss-fucker' modes. =P
The only negative I can think of the lack of urgency in the health system. Dying is just meh.
Balding Chimp commented September 07, 2008 at 9:42 PM
Very trippy...I like that in a game. You should change the background music to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. The control method I liked...had a unique feel to it. (Well, except for that grapler game I played). Ran fine on my machine. W and S for the menu? (Looks like Nintendo's Donkey Kong turned everybody into "leftys" after all) ;) 8/10

Siert, look what you did! Now my reviews aren't the coolest anymore, how can I compete with graphics? D:
DSG commented September 08, 2008 at 8:34 AM
:O 8/10. it progresses too slow and its [only a little] hard to follow... I loved the menu. I mean I REALLY loved the menu.
Rikrok commented September 08, 2008 at 3:03 PM
That was awesome, well done! I only wish you stuck with electro for the main game music, but that's just me..
Mat commented September 08, 2008 at 4:10 PM
How long before Siert gets bored of picture ratings eh?
Ferret commented September 08, 2008 at 10:29 PM
good effects, but not a very lasting appeal (burns my eyes). The game is interesting, but not very fun. I wish these beautiful effects could be put to better use. 7/10

I've been addicted to it.

1/10
Crane-ium commented September 09, 2008 at 6:00 AM
The graphics were spectacular, but the gameplay lacked the same quality. My interest in the game dropped fast. I was very impressed with the graphics though, they were very unique. 7/10.
Distortion commented September 09, 2008 at 2:11 PM
Cool game.
I like the effects and I think there are to little of them. To little colors too. And maybe you could and more neonlike colors like geometry wars. So they look like they give light themselfs.
Add more upgrades and game modes.
