Ne Touchez Pas!

WARNING: DIFFICULT GAME. I would rather you didn't complain because it's too difficult - that's intentional. After creating NAL's Jet Pod, I had an urge to create a similar game, but much harder. This is it. 16 levels, in a glorious two-OR-MAYBE-A-FEW-MORE-colour palette, in which you play a bird who must flap his way out, avoiding the walls. A little like Messhof's "Flywrench".

Controls are A/D or Left/Right to move, and W or Up to flap. For best controls, use A/D to move and Up to flap (or the reverse if you're left handed).

You could probably enter this into the poppenkast fly competition.

Sounds pretty good, where can I find the information about it?

That's some awesome music. Shame the game is a bit too hard for me... 7/10

The Poppenkast competition is here: http://www.thepoppenkast.com/forum/index.php?topic=905.0

After the recent of absence of games here recently, I'm glad to see that a game like this has popped up. The game looks really, really good.
I'll probably put it on my 'Indie Gaming Thread' on a particular forum that I do monthly with the best freeware games of that month featured on the thread.

I may be wrong, but isn't there more than a two-colour palette used for this game? In the screenshots alone, the colours white, black, grey and blue are all used. I don't personally create anything of this sort, so my understanding of what a 'two-colour palette' is may be incorrect.
Either way, this isn't a flaw to the game, of course. :D

Well, ignoring the grey (I class that as a shade of white), only two colours are ever seen at one point in the actual game. The blue background is a cheat revealed upon completion (it's a guessable cheat).

It might be a bit of a lie, but meh. :)

36 deaths by L3, 152 by L4. The use UP and A/D tip really helped, you should probably mention it on the title screen
I like it. The turning is yay. The music is yay. The difficulty is yay
That being said, since I haven't met too many others like myself who love losing, you should include a weenie mode that has flowers falling from the sides and is like hot pink background with black walls or something that

This was purely entertaining. I'm a fan of arcade type games so it served as a good pass-time.

Kudos for making an addicting game.

I like sadistic games. No i love them!
But this has a lack gameplay. It's always the same. But it's still very addictive.
