A - Jump
S - Throw dagger

Kill vampires and other creatures by throwing daggers at them. Beware, you can easily run out of daggers. I advice you to collect dagger from already fallen foes.

Heh that was pretty fun. Had me playing for a while, you worked hard on this one Rez, your sprites are what make it rock... Hmm a 9/10 for you.

First off, lose the Super Mario sounds XD

I made it to Act 05 before dying(and thereafter qutting).

The graphics are great, as usual.
The sounds and music keep my ears occupied.
The gameplay is somewhat repetitive, although I wouldn't mind playing through the entire game.
The one boss I fought was pretty cool, and I enjoyed killing him.

Those glowing orbs that fly around when you kill an enemy are rather distracting, particularly when you've just killed 3-4 enemies and you've got about 200 of them whipping across the screen. Perhaps some fading alpha effect for them.

Overall, a nice, fun little side scroller.

Be nice for multiple jump keys
Dagger weapon system was nice, though may I ask why you skipped variable jumping?
The sprites were nice, as always, and even animated. So all well there. Besides the death circles, which should of faded so that they wouldn't be as blunt and if you chased one it'd vanish instead of just blipping out of existence
Act4 seemed a bit weak, as did Dracula. Though Dracula was still interesting

nice game... but I can't stand the main character animations. people don't walk that way, oh & the bubbles that fly out of enemies? what's up with that?

The 1st boss, the fireballs blend with the background.

Pitfalls shouldn't have a white glow, the should be black (like our next president),.. they are the same as if you go to the next level like in the 1st stage.

When hit from below, does it make the character jump? Like landing on a zombie makes me jump off his head & take damage,
Edit: yeah I re-checked. At least add several seconds of invincibility so u can get away, instead of dying instantly. What's the point of having life bar/hearts & collecting potions/energy.

Please people add a death scene or animation. I hate when u die u instantly jump to room start.

U have 3 game genres on it but none of them are right. Platformer. lol

Whew, I actually completed the game. It was really easy up until Dracula. From there, it was absolute hell. Took me some time to beat it. Interesting learning curve...

Loved the graphics and sounds. I'm not used to jumping with the 'A' key, so it would have been nice if the up arrow key could be used as an alternative.

Overall, very polished. Quite enjoyable. Wish it was longer.

Would of been better if during the Dracula fight the daggers were lost when they hit the invisible walls instead of just stopping

Finished the game =D
I really like the dagger throwing and retrieving idea, and the graphics were amazing, only thing I found was it was moderately easy except for the Dracula boss who I died from more than the final boss =O. Great game overall, 9/10

Nice to play very addictive game wich doesn't make you think hard! I ran it through till level 5 and can say that gameplay is really good 8/10 though it gets a bit laggy when there are a lot of enemies on the screen.

Beat it on my first run. Hooray?

It wasn't bad, but I discovered why it had no save game rather quickly, as it's quite short, but since it lacks any form of "cotinue where you left off" function that's just fine. Main guy walks a little funky, but otherwise I don't have a whole lot of complaints.

I do wonder, though, why the first boss had no health in his room whereas the final eventually had up to six potions...? That almost exclusively makes the first boss a lot harder, especially in trying to figure out his patterns.

Overall, tho, I'm-a give it an 8. I like it.

Awesome. I beat it. Way to go, and I won't give you 10/10 just because you'll get proud and not improve, and I like the direction you're improving in ;)

+Decent shading, good backgrounds, picking up thrown daggers, good fire.
-(lack of)animations, characters seen oddly misshapen,absence of A.I., repetative gameplay, you used the first boss as a weak enemy later on, static jumping removed the possibility of real platforming.

@Rolf=There were more animations than normal, and personally I love it when bosses show up later as usual enemies. Though REZ did tone them down

Define normal.
I think it is normal to move your hand when you throw a dagger.

Wow, this was good! Most of the music was nice, I didn't like Act 2 or Act 4's music, 1 and 5 were easily my favorites. Graphics were just plain awesome, well, except the walking animations, and the bats should have had at least a little shading. Gameplay was great, I liked the dagger system. Act 2 was a little on the hard side, but overall great game, just wish it was longer! :D

Sound & Music: 10/10 (Ripped, but fits well anyway.)

Great graphics, fitting music, enjoyable gameplay, and a very polished overall feel.

Like most people, I liked the dagger system. A save and continue would have been nice, but it's not a very long game, so I guess they're not necessary.

Jumping with A seemed a bit odd at first, but I got used to it, so no faults there.

I really couldn't care about animations, and the main character's walking looks fine to me.

9/10, because I don't believe in 10/10.

I had the sudden urge to play this game again for some odd reason. It's still really good, reminds me of a game I made 5 years ago.

I remember playing this back in the day, it was good (and probably still is).
