yup, i finally decided to release the second and last demo of firegleam blade! alot has been improved in this version, as well as some new spells, many more areas, more equipment, the second temple, and much much more! i'm certain alot of you have anticipated another demo or the full version, so here you are!

the controls are explained inside the game, but just so nobody is confused, here they are again.

WASD format

f-attack/cast spell
q-use canteen

arrow key format
arrow keys-self explanatory
delete-use canteen <- i might be wrong on this key

the story will be explained within the game, but in order to actually begin the game and follow the story, you may need to follow this walk through for the first chapter of the game: sometime past 7:00PM, go north from your house to the great tree, you will notice that a path has been opened, as well as some monsters. fight or ignore the monsters and keep headed north. once through, you will be inside the great tree, with a ghost further up north. talk to the ghost and listen to his story, and once you have done so, go back to your house, then head east from there and keep moving until you can no longer move east, head north from there and you should arrive at a checkpoint with two paths leading north. you will not need to take the path to the right just yet, so take the bridge to kanalet. once there, talk to the woman at the center or the village, and gather four power orbs for her, once that's done, there is no cutscene for that yet, so it will immidietly take you to the devastated kanalet. head back south and return to the ghost if you want, if you want to hear more of the story. head back to the checkpoint and go to the right this time. the passage into silver cave will be blocked, but you can use magic to destroy the old gates, press three on your keyboard and cast boulder, which will smash through the gates. then head within the cave. move along the south side of the cave until you come across some tyraps, move through those and defeat the thugs above, one should be holding a key, that will unlock the door that you saw when you first got inside. unlock the door and avoid all the other traps. once up on the northern side, use the switch which will allow you to pass through there without moving through the traps, and save. you will encounter a friend from the past named carson (that's actually me) he'll warn you about the golem deeper in and will give you 2 blue potions, very valuable.

i'll add to the walkthrough later, but i have to go somewhere now, so that's all the info i can give you! please comment/rant/criticize about anything in the game here, and give me ratings as well, and some suggestions for what i could do!

meh, spelling again. i'll fix it sometime, and if i can get a dialogue system, could you suggest where i can find one? and it FROZE your computer? wow. and yes, i know most of the NPC's have the same sprite, i can work with that though, and yes, i know they're just heads. they're smilies.

This was really good (most probably because I like Zelda). I really liked the effects, most of them really impressed me (like the fire and shadows). I got pretty far, up to the golem dungeoun but many of the parts in that place are impossible to pass without getting hit(especially trying to get the second key. Some things could use improvement(Some gamatical errors, you almost never knew when the sword actually damaged the enemy). Overall this was pretty good and most probably will be really good when released. Oh and I remember hearing that thing the ghost said(''Im a life, I am Death, I am Matter, I am Anti-Matter'') somewhere....yea now I remember.

yeah, when the game is released, you'll figure out what he meant when he said that. perhaps a little spoiler? he is life and death, he is matter and anti matter. that would most likely mean he exists but he doesn't, perhaps like a god? *HINT! HINT POINTING TOWARDS FINAL BOSS! OMFG!*

mm, i'll keep that in mind for the rain, and as for the magic, that can be arranged, so i'll have that taken care of. thanks for the good suggestions everyone!

um, if you payed attention to the beggining, it could tell you controls for arrow keys.

I didn't say they were bad nor great. I simply said to tweak it a notch. But the effect was still great in itself.
