this is extremely nice, dude. I will definitely use this. I fail to see any flaws in it, as well. I see no other grade to give you but a 10/10
ludamad commented May 26, 2006 at 12:41 AM
Awesome indeed, and fun to toy with.
Kaz commented May 26, 2006 at 1:37 AM
Very nice work, though it felt somewhat limitied. I guess since I just made an effect creator I feel just 1 type of effect isnt enough. Though its very well done. 9/10
takua108 commented May 26, 2006 at 3:29 AM
I'll give it a 9/10 simply because:
a.) Since it uses GM particles, you should make a button to export a GML script
b.) I felt it was a little limited as to the options you could play with
c.) You can't edit a numeric value manually
However, I liked this a lot and people (myself included) could very well benefit from this program.
Tyranic-Moron commented May 26, 2006 at 8:24 AM
Nice! Does exactly what it says it does, and well. Not very useful for me though, because I like my explosions different each time. As takua said, a script exporter would be helpful.
Kaz commented May 26, 2006 at 5:19 PM
Ah yes, an exporter. Cant believe I forgot about that since I made one for Effects Creator. Animations might be not as smooth as sthe script itself.

This is awsome. I posted on your GMC topic to. The one thing that I don't like is at the end it looks like a ton of big dots. But, anyways, I like this, and it is going to stay on my computer.

Really awesome, easy to use and extremely useful.
inkfan commented May 31, 2006 at 6:59 PM
It's good, but seems kind of limited.
melee-master commented June 04, 2006 at 7:19 AM
That's pretty awesome. Very nice interface. Two problems though:

[li]Slightly limited in explosion formation-wise
[li]When capturing, you keep the numbers on the preview area visible, and they end up getting into the sprite. XD It was really awkward, I was testing an explosion I exported, and I had it fullscreen so the game was stretched, and when I thought I kept seeing as number, I figured I was crazy. I was wrong.

elmernite commented June 29, 2006 at 1:12 AM
The number is only on the first frame. Which has no part of the explogen on it. I kept it there to help people know which explosion it was. It can be removed.

This can be very useful. Thanks for making this. Great job! I give this a 8/10 for great interface but limited explosions.
Alert Games commented October 17, 2006 at 7:27 PM
Its okay, but I feel that it is very limited.

Very nice, this program is really helpful. A great alternative to the built in GM effects.
Jaxx commented January 24, 2007 at 10:07 PM
Cool! Brilliant effex!
Firebee commented January 25, 2007 at 6:04 PM
Wow, this helps a lot. 10/10, and some credit in my next game.
elmernite commented January 25, 2007 at 6:36 PM
Thanks! everyone! And extra thanks to those that put me in the credits!
Firebee commented February 02, 2007 at 5:28 AM
One thought I had was that it would be supremely spiffy if you built the animated gif directly... And a script exporter would always be nice.

Nice Graphics

Like it! Wait...Love it! 10/10
(this might help me a little.)
TCHRacoon commented September 30, 2007 at 6:03 AM
It's a really cool programme and easier then making all the explosions yourself. Very helpfull and looks nice too! 10/10
Moikle commented October 29, 2009 at 5:59 PM
i'd rather make them myself with particle effects, but it is very good
