Shawn64 tribute site

I noticed shawn64's site went down this year. So I decided to try to preserve as much as I can. Here's what I have so far: https://s64games.wordpress.com/

I just updated the download links today. I'm using 64d for now, I will add dropbox links later. I managed to find several lost games using web archive, which is awesome. The only remaining lost game is Cookie Buster.

I still need to save all screenshots from web archive and re-upload them to wordpress. There are several game pages where the images didn't survive, so I'll need to get screenshots for:

Bounty Hunter SX
Ski-Racer 2
Holiday Hunting
Fireworks Maker
Jetz Rampage 2
Shawn vs. Jerred

I'm also going to try to archive the Mini Golf Pro pages, along with Jetz Fusion weapons and Jetz 4 weapons.

I added some Let's Plays and fangames but I feel like those pages are dreadfully bare for now. Only 5 LPs of Shawn's games on youtube. Frustrating to see him so overlooked.

Any help would be appreciated re: the screenshots. Let me know what you think about the site. Go make some LPs and fangames too. Thanks.

All my new projects

New Email

I decided to stop using social media (twitter, discord, etc) so if you would like to reach me, send me a PM and I'll give you my new email. That's how I'm staying in touch with people these days.
PMs aren't working (of course) so just comment if you want me to keep in touch and I'll figure something out. This is mostly for EV, Yaywalter and a few others.

We moved back in August to get away from a toxic situation with our roommate. I won't go into too much detail here. We're better now and that's the important thing.

Games and Projects

I haven't posted my projects on here in a few years it seems, so I have a lot I haven't shared here.

Seraphim Automata - written in 5 weeks in 2016, generates jazz music as you play. My first experiment with generative music.

Celody Life
- I merged Seraphim Automata's code with someone's code for Conway's Game of Life and got this. Basically allows you to generate music with true cellular automata. This is my smallest new project but also one of the most interesting to me.

NanoTone Synth
- microtonal software. Allows you to play in other EDOs (equal divisions of the octave, or temperaments). You can compare the accuracy of their harmonies to 12-EDO, which is what most Western music uses. Kinda specialist software but the few people who get it seem to dig it.

Iridescent Crown
- I finally released (a very simple version of) that platformer I've agonized about since 2010. The resolution and graphics were kept small and simple for it to work in HTML5.

I would very much like to work on a higher quality sequel someday. I'm just taking a break this winter to focus on my health.

I've been screwing around in my own copy of the Minecraft server and made my own Pokemon Route that runs through Piccadilly, Shepton, a few of my own cities, then eventually routes backs to Lungfishopolis and ends in Founton. I got bored with Minecraft once I was done with that, but it was pretty fun to make.

The new aquatic update is nice, I just wish dolphins wouldn't despawn. Piccadilly with dolphins would be awesome. I made an aquarium and it's just turtles.

I've been watching Boogiepop Phantom, which is like an extra dose of Serial Experiments Lain (made by the same people). If you like sci-fi anime that fucks with your head, I recommend it. Also been watching a lot of The Twilight Zone.

That's about all. Sayonara.
