BellyFlopper is based and inspired by games from the era 1985-1995(Stuff I grew up on). --Arcade and console alike-- It features 30 levels(splashes) that put the character; Bellyflopper Bob into various difficulties while belly flopping objects on the screen.

Basic controls:

Left mouse button = execute or start.
mouse = movement(left/right Bob movement - total cursor movement).

Other Keys:

Pause-break = Pauses game.
Return = Returns the game play from a pause.
F = Toggle FPS. Should be 30FPS and will reset the display after the level.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE DOCS FOR A FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME>

http://www.mediafire.com/view/988cyjx3151hdd5/BellyFlopperDocs.pdf
THERE IS A LOCAL DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE FOR DEVICES THAT ARE CAPABLE.
JUST DOWNLOAD UNZIP AND OPEN WITH FAVORITE BROWSER.

**OTHER NOTE: I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TEST BELLYFLOPPER ON EVERY PHONE OR TABLET
DEVICE BECAUSE I SIMPLY DO NOT OWN EVERY DEVICE.

ON SOME PHONE AND TABLET DEVICES BELLYFLOPPER WOULD NOT ZOOM BECAUSE OF THE BROWSER'S CAPABILITIES ON THAT PARTICULAR DEVICE. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME. IN ADDITION, IT DIDN'T WORK LOCALLY ON THESE DEVICES BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THEIR OS'S.

If this is the case with you; Sorry for the inconvenience.

In general this should work with all PC related OS's that have browsers supporting HTML5.

It seems that the origin of the bob's sprite is offset to the right and thus you have to target to the left of whatever you want to hit.

No, I have to upload the pdf or link it..

There's an explanation to it. The cursor is for estimation. When I didn't have it. It made belly flopping a bit hard to sight. I have in past made games too hard for others though it seemed ez for me.. I explain it the manual. I'm still adding to this page so i'll get a link so people can read the manual. Also, be careful if you have your browser in windowed mode. If you loose focus in window mode then of course you know that the game in the browser can get outta hand. BTW, what browser did you use?

Also, Thanks for trying it!

The docs are linked in the game description now.

The targeted spot is consistently out of reach of bob's right hand (Left from the player's perspective)

The targeting seems very precised just consistently to the left of bob.
Once I realized this, the game became far easier.

I used chrome, but I just tried it in firefox and got the same behavior.

Are u referring to the cursor or Bob himself. Does Bob himself belly flop a Ball or other enemy?

I tested this on other platforms with multiple browsers used via that particular platform and my buddies did on their end as well. They understood what was going on with game's mechanics. They also tested with Opera as well.

I primarily used chrome and firefox but in linux seamonkey was also used in addition with 32 and 64 bit versions alike. I just looked at it again to gain your perspective. It's seems your referring to the targeting or cursor as I call it. If that's the case it's meant to do that.. To be a reference...

Again, Thanx for your consideration..

DDN. It's an HTML5 game. Unzip to a folder. Open your favorite browser. Chrome is a good one. Then open or drag the 'index.html' file into the browser. Then play. And don't forget to read the docs. Notably the cross-hair cursor which is a guide for Bob is confusing at first. It's not acually 1:1 with Bob belly flopping anything it's used as guide between the next flop.
