After a long period of down time in development, we are now currently fixing many of the bugs that were present in Adrenaline beta 3. Hopefully within two weeks or so, Adrenaline will go gold, and we will release version 1.0.0. It will include a lot of bug fixes and enhancements (especially regarding the single player mode), as well as a few new features. We will release more info as we near this goal.
Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us by testing the betas, it has been so much fun.
I'd just like to let everyone know that Adrenaline development is far from dead, as we are going to be releasing beta 3 in the new year.
As far as gameplay goes, not much has changed - the main focus of the coming release is the brand new single player mode which features AI bots that fight it out in either DM or TDM. Along with this comes the new music system, new player characters, a new weapon and a slew of tweaks and bug fixes. All of these make the game a whole lot smoother and enjoyable to play.
GM on Nintendo DS! Posted on April 01, 2008 at 09:36
After about a month or so of poking and prodding the DS (i broke my first one when I tried to attack it's ROM chips and it decided to commit seppuku on me) I managed to get it running GM games via emulating a stripped down windows 98 and hence dx8. Here's a screen of me testing adrenaline on my ds:
amazingly it runs at around 25fps (at one point I hit 38fps). The touch screen works too, but I can't get it to show anything other than a simple button. Hopefully a video soon.
