New Adrenaline Version
Posted on April 01, 2010 at 08:40

We've made a huge announcement about the future of Adrenaline, at our website:

I think it's going to be a great improvement to the game, it's what it's been missing for so long in our opinion.

I just released a cool gm functional programming lib at the GMC if anyone wants to check it out:

There's a lot more info about it posted there, so I won't bother reposting it here.

Need your help!

Adrenaline is currently in the GMC cagematch for a 4th round. We're up against a decent game, called Swerve, and the score is currently very close.

Thanks guys!

After a long period of down time in development, we are now currently fixing many of the bugs that were present in Adrenaline beta 3. Hopefully within two weeks or so, Adrenaline will go gold, and we will release version 1.0.0. It will include a lot of bug fixes and enhancements (especially regarding the single player mode), as well as a few new features. We will release more info as we near this goal.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us by testing the betas, it has been so much fun.

Okay so it's nothing special, it's just my experiments with game A.I. (Connect 4) put onto the internet.

Play it here: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/show/86734

Then tell me how you fare against the A.I.

much luv

I'd just like to let everyone know that Adrenaline development is far from dead, as we are going to be releasing beta 3 in the new year.

As far as gameplay goes, not much has changed - the main focus of the coming release is the brand new single player mode which features AI bots that fight it out in either DM or TDM. Along with this comes the new music system, new player characters, a new weapon and a slew of tweaks and bug fixes. All of these make the game a whole lot smoother and enjoyable to play.

In other news, it's Christmas!!!

GM on Nintendo DS!
Posted on April 01, 2008 at 09:36

After about a month or so of poking and prodding the DS (i broke my first one when I tried to attack it's ROM chips and it decided to commit seppuku on me) I managed to get it running GM games via emulating a stripped down windows 98 and hence dx8. Here's a screen of me testing adrenaline on my ds:

amazingly it runs at around 25fps (at one point I hit 38fps). The touch screen works too, but I can't get it to show anything other than a simple button. Hopefully a video soon.

64Digits on major blogs
Posted on March 21, 2008 at 17:05

If you've noticed a lot of guests at 64Digits recently, your eyes were not deceiving you.

I'd like to congratulate DoctorM64 on making pretty major internet news at serveral respected websites including ds fanboy, the digg frontpage, Destructoid, Wired, Kotaku, Joystiq, GameTrailers Featured and Ars Technica with his GM created game AMR2 Metroid 2 Remake!

The poor old 64Digits servers are getting pretty hammered under this traffic! This deserves to be front page 64Digits news (not some random thing about snowmoons...)

Yes it's a short blog, but it doesn't matter because this is pretty damn awesome. Well done DoctorM64.

The last time something liked this happened was with Duck Doom Deluxe, which was even featured on G4's Attack of the Show.

Was I really the only person who noticed abonormally high numbers of guests in the past few days?
