The deadline is approaching and my game is almost acceptable for a demo. So yes its going to be a demo. Expect about 10 minutes of gameplay.
I still need:
at least one more enemy type
about 4 more animations
at least one more weapon
fix various bugs
Coincidentally I have the next two days off from work so i should be able to finish maybe.

Well i haven't thought of a name yet so i should probably do that. Any way its going to be a sort of metroid castlevania mix. basically you will be underground fighting ghouls, ghosts, zombies, and such, but the whole thing will play more like metroid.
I have made lots of progress, I would say I'm about halfway done so I'm right on track (maybe just a little behind). The engine is about 90% complete. all I really have left is enemies, graphics, maps, and i still have a little to do with combat still. the game wont be very graphics heavy so that wont be too hard. Enemies are already in the engine I just need to make more kinds. I don't know how ling I'm going to make the game though. i might make this a demo and finish it later to post on my website. it depends on how much time i have in the end.
I have decided to stop livestreaming development for this game. I guess its just too late but my day job wont let me stream any earlier.
also in case you were wondering I'm making this game in c++ using sdl for window handling and input handling and opengl for graphics
