Horror games for Halloween?
Posted on October 17, 2007 at 18:13

I'm making a horror game to celebrate Halloween. I think it'd be cool if others would do so too. There seem to be very few GM games with horror themes in general. I like the horror genre, since everything supernatural that doesn't involve spaceships and lasers seem to be classified as horror. It's a category that lets you be very creative.

Here's a screenshot from my WIP. I won't say what it'll be about. But you can be sure that it'll be scary.

I'll release it on the 31st of October, I guess. Hope to see a few more horror games around that time :)

Yeah, just make sure that your game gets posted up on time for Halloween.

That means that you should submit the game around, I don't know...3 days ago?

Won't you at least reveal what genre this plans to go about as?

It looks like those card-based adventure games.

@ FireflyX: What a coincidence. My game's actually about a circus too.

The game's a horror game. It plays like an adventure game in the same vein as Deja Vu for the NES.

Gradients are the only thing you can use to create hotspots. And if you look at my projects page, I do use them occasionally :)
