Saber Engine
Lightsaber Engine
By: Halibutski
With help from Arcalyth (when he was Halospree13)

Basically use 'Z' and 'X' to change colors, and the arrow keys to move the base. I originally thought of turning this into a game, but then I forgot about this. Its not very polished because I never was going to release it. So yeah.

Woo hoo! Lightsabers - the one thing I like the most about the Star Wars universe. ;) Nice. Probably one of the best looking versions I've seen yet.

At first, it was impressive, but after I try mess with it a bit, here are some flaws:

1. It only works well with Black background. Turn it to white completely turns the saber invisible. I've tried other colors as well, but it still has some problem.

2. Just like what Shadow Yoshi said, there are noticable spheres. You are using a "for" statement that loops 33 times. IMO, this is too much. Why don't you just make a stick and use xscale & yscale and have spheres at both ends of the stick instead? It should allows one to resize the saber, as well as removing unneccessary processes.

I will give you 7/10 since there are some unneccessary processes in order to create a light saber; moreover, the engine is not flexible enough. Sure, other people can implement on their own continuing from this engine, but as an engine, it should flexible and efficient since from the beginning. Also, at your level, I know that you can do better than this.

It was neat, but yeah, I could notice the circles.

#10: Because its not as fun that way. Besides, lightsabers are supposed to be invisible on a white background.

#11: Again, its not as funn.

#12: Watch a Star Wars movie -_-

i like it... i changed a few things to it tho, made it look like starwars lightsaber. this one has a saber handle, and i also made a guy wield it, his arm moves and stuff as u move, i thought this example was useful. 9/10
