And then picks up a couple things and goes and fights a giant boss, but because I programmed this in <24hrs, you only get to see There was supposed to be a soundtrack too, but there twasn't enough time to record myself playing it. (though you can listen to the first few tracks of this to get a feel for what I was going for, since that's what I was listening to while making the game) Target platforms:

Hey, I wasn't kidding when I said it was incomplete.
(complete version would have the player collect the helmet, the sword, and the orb while avoiding/hacking enemies, then go and fight the endboss) (alas this version only has the player listen to a few people, pick up a couple things and then ends with the "error" screen) tl;dr don't try programming a game for a 3-month comp in one day EDIT: and I guess technically it's two items so I'll change that description
Interesting concept, and I love the simplicity of the title. I only have a couple of issues really. For starters I found it a bit slow at the start and so I did have to fight my impatience not to quit. Remember that a lot of gamers are impatient and will form very quick impressions form the first few mins of the game. Secondly he stuck a bit sometimes while jumping up the ledges at the start so I had to press back and re-manoeuvre myself a few times. I would like to see it once you’ve added more features and it’s pretty impressive for a <24 hr job.

also homestuck <3
EDIT:
OKAY. So I'm not gonna do a rating since this is just a very short demo and all BUT I did like the style and overall direction. A more fleshed out story would be cool too, but maybe you were planning on fleshing out the story as the story develops.
Kind of like Homestuck. :3
So yeah, overall it was pretty sweet bro.
