Mouse Movement Example
This is a nifty little example. If you click somewhere, your character will move there, and he/she will change their sprite, depending on what direction they are going. Games such as Diablo and RuneScape use such programming.

You don't need to give credit, but I would like you to PM me on GMC if you use it, for I would like to see my example be put to use :). All I ask is that you don't use the character sprite.


Target platforms:



Dev - Warning
Dev - After editing rating, make rating display change
Dev - When editing, update "edited" column
Dev - Restore deleted comments
Dev - Display deleted comments if mod (hidden, then with dropdown)
Dev - After deletion or during edit, make rating dropdown appear again
Dev - Stricter rating rules. Prevent user from rating again

Well, nobody's voted yet :P

Please note that there are plenty of better ways to do this. However, this one can be tweaked a bit to make various AI.

I'm doing it to show a different way to move like that. Just to give a new method. It's mainly for changing the character's sprite depending on the character's direction, anyway.

Lol. That's basically what the movement's based off of. Using what Kenon wanted me to use would have made it more RuneScape-ish.
