A short but sweet platformer I created for a retro competition. I think I came 3rd or something. This is one of my favorite games for some reason :3

Anyway, enjoy!

I found this quite fun. Yes, it was too short, but it did have a lot of elements from the classical Gameboy platformers. Bosses were easy, but they should be with only three lives.

Ok, on to the things I didn't like:
Movement was odd, and the sprite changing was wierd. Try using something like:
Code
if hspeed > 0
  sprite_index=spr_right

Also, there were lots of perching positions that were annoying. The platforms should be jump-through (it's better, trust me).
The boss pole that marbs mentioned didn't work very well.
The last thing: I had lost all lives at the boss, and it still let me continue to play. I lost no more lives after that, though.

So, I found it a pretty fun game, but it could've been better. I'm going to give an 8. Nice job.

I've advanced since I made this. I do now know how to fix most of the glitches in the game. However, I just really can't be bothered, mainly since I was since using Drag and Drop then.

Great graphics and sound are fine...but feels to simple for what can be done. It would be a decent Game Boy game but the feel is lacking something. It's like, for what it is, it is well done, but yes... it won't take long before you wan't a little something more to spice it up. 7/10

I wish I'd be able to run a single game I've seen go through the Featured slot yet. >:L Is it just Vista and GM6's BS, or something else?

Yeah - vista and GM6 don't get along - you need the convertor.

This is exactly why we shouldn't accept Vista incompatible games.
