In-Game Online Highscores V2.2
File Type: .gmk PRO
Version: 2.2

This was originally created for my game Coloraze: Spectrum but I've decided to share it with everyone.

This is not all my work. I used 39ster's 39dll and download example and I also used Gift of Death's highscore.php script, although I did some major edits on it.

This system has a php script that does nothing but add your score to a text document (so all you need is php). It uses the php script through 39dll, then downloads the scores from the internet and displays them. It does all of this without another window.

1. Upload highscores.php and scores.txt files on your host.
2. Edit the highscores.gmk file.
3. Test!

!You Could Also Test With The Provided Settings!

Make sure you extract everything before using the .gmk
You have to have 39dll.dll in the same folder as your game

If you have problems having it work in you own game try CHMODimg scores.txt to 666 or 777.

To use this example in your game you need to provide credit to Siert, Gift of Death and 39ster

EDIT: Version 2!
I strongly recommend downloading the new version!

EDIT: Version 2.1!
Fixes bug when files are in a sub directory.

EDIT: Version 2.2!
Apparently my custom lite version of the 39dll doesn't work in executables, only gmks. This example now includes the whole 39dll.

New Features:
-Uses 39dll
-Now uses scripts
-Draw_list() function
-Ability to list scores backwards (ie fastest scores)

-Fast
-Small
-Reliable
-Understandable
-Flexible

NOTE: may not work with all hosts

Target platforms:

Although this isn't useful to me as I cannot yet make games, I'm sure others will find it an extremely useful example.
It's very kind of you to submit it here. :D

Too bad that I can't test this right now since I have no GM7 pro nor own website atm =P.
