Flat Screen LCD!

Hah! Since my monitor blew, I got a nice 17-inch LCD monitor for US$150!

Anyhow, I am modeling like crazy. I've made about a half a dozen low poly models for my upcoming game, and now I just gotta figure out how to use them in Gamemaker! The new model functions should help If I Can Find Out How To Use Them.

And so my first foray into 3D begins. As of now, I have a really nice mouse movement, I just need a mouse model, because it is currently a yellow ball. And my StratAI is going to be implemented once I finish it. Should I work on my AI, or my models?

I can do both soon, with summer.

Oh, and say hello to the Texaswide Digital Art Champion, me! My digital artwork won Best-In-State!

Nice. I also have a 17" LCD.

Anyway, it's tough to use models in GM. Mostly because it can't just import .(whatever) files into the game. You have to create draw scripts for each model.

It's truly a pain in the ass.

6.1 has model load functions or something. I'm looking into it; that and how to create textures that display on the model properly.

Aw, why'd you get an LCD? You could have gotten a huge CRT for 150USD. XD

CRTs take up a ton of room though, especially the bigger ones. As long as you buy an 8ms or lower, you're well off for an LCD. I have a 19".
